The Avista Black Box is a proprietary, stand-alone monitoring device that replicates membrane performance without interrupting the reverse osmosis (RO) system operation. The Avista Black Box simulates spiral wound membrane performance for pilot or full-scale systems and eliminates the need to sacrifice full-sized elements for autopsy. The Black Box is self-contained and designed to be maintenance free. The inlet is connected to a sample port on the membrane system at the location where membrane performance will be monitored. The concentrate and permeate lines are connected to the system drain. Developed for system troubleshooting and optimization. Autopsy results derived from the Avista Black Box mirror those obtained from a full-sized element.

Vitec™ 3000 is a powerful, wide spectrum, liquid antiscalant and dispersant that is highly effective at low dose rates and in a wide range of feedwaters such as brackish, wastewater, and seawater. Vitec 3000 is used in multiple industries including, but not limited to, semiconductor, food and beverage, power, and oil and gas. Vitec 3000 contains high and low molecular weight components that are proven to not only prevent scale precipitation but also to disperse particles. Vitec 3000 is approved by the NSF and the UK Drinking Water Inspectorate (DWI) and conforms to EN 15040 standards.

Vitec™ 4000 is a liquid antiscalant and dispersant that offers excellent silica scale inhibition and allows increased system recoveries in high silica feedwaters. Vitec 4000 prevents silica scale up to 2.8 times saturation, without the addition of acid. It also is effective in preventing clay formation (aluminum silicates) in the second stage of systems as well as calcium phosphate. Vitec 4000 is also effective in water containing high metals such as iron, aluminum, and manganese. Vitec 4000 is highly successful in many different industries and applications including, but not limited to, mining, well water, high recovery systems, wastewater, and in regions with high volcanic silica. Vitec 4000 is NSF approved and UK Drinking Water Inspectorate (DWI) approved.

Vitec™ 7000 is a multicomponent liquid antiscalant and dispersant that provides a high level of sulfate inhibition and allows increased reverse osmosis (RO) system recoveries in challenging waters. It prevents calcium sulfate (CaSO₄) scale precipitation, allowing up to 6 times saturation. The primary application of this product is brackish water or wastewater rich in sulfate, which requires a specialty product for economic membrane system recovery. It is successful in industrial and potable applications. Vitec 7000 is approved by the NSF and the UK Drinking Water Inspectorate (DWI) and conforms to EN 15040 standards.

Vitec™ 1400 is a proprietary liquid antiscalant designed to inhibit a wide range of scales including carbonate, sulfate, and silica in municipal feedwaters where metal (i.e., aluminum) concentrations in the feed are low but silica scale potential is elevated.

Vitec™1500 is a liquid antiscalant designed to inhibit or reduce aluminum silicates, calcium phosphate, and silica scale. This highly concentrated antiscalant can be used at very low doses and is good for wastewater and well water with high silica. Product contains dispersants that can break up clays and particulates. Vitec 1500 is NSF approved.

Vitec™ 1600 is a liquid antiscalant and dispersant designed to inhibit silica scale, aluminum silicates, and calcium carbonate in water containing moderately high silica and calcium without the addition of acid. It also is good at the prevention of aluminum silicate (clay) formation when both silica and aluminum are moderate. It is highly successful in many different industries and applications including, but not limited to, wastewater, leachate, municipal city water and seawater.

Vitec™ 3025 is a full spectrum, liquid antiscalant for high organic and silt waters that have a lower potential for carbonate, sulfate, or silica scaling. Vitec 3025 is very effective in agriculture and farming applications as well as sites where dilution of the chemical is not possible. Vitec 3025 is compatible with organic coagulants such as RoQuest 3000.

Vitec™ 5100 is a liquid antiscalant and dispersant targeted at preventing scale precipitation in larger systems and is particularly cost effective in seawater and municipal reverse osmosis (RO) applications. This full spectrum antiscalant is also very effective in high iron and organic waters. Vitec 5100 is NSF certified.

Vitec™ 7400 is a liquid antiscalant with a unique blend of polymer and phosphonate components used for systems with both high silica and sulfate challenges.This product was developed for high silica and sulfate ground water, high recovery systems, and closed-circuit desalination.  Vitec 7400 is NSF approved.
