KW Designed Solutions hyperbaric chambers are used extensively by companies, who serve the offshore industry. Traditionally the name hyperbaric is used to describe any chamber or vessel, that operates above atmospheric conditions.

The KW Designed Solutions breech lock closure pressure vessel, utilises one of our most robust, efficient and quick-acting closures. The breech lock closure is an innovatively engineered closure, which allows the operator to rapidly open or close the pressure vessel, with a simple 1/8th to 1/16th turn of a handle.

We are experts in engineering pressure vessels with integral high-pressure agitation and mixing systems: Allowing finer control of the temperature gradient throughout the vessel and ensuring the temperature of the DUT remains within a tightly specified tolerance band, throughout the entire test period. To establish an even distribution of mixed particles within the test media, for chemical mixing, blending or environmental simulation.

We provide manual pressure control systems, that allow operators to control hydrostatic pressure testing functions by hand. These are ideal to use for simple pressure control; where automation is not required. Pressure adjustments are made simply by manually opening / closing valves or using push button switches.

We have created a clean pressure controlling environment, which guarantees accurate results in high pressure testing, which uses aggressive and dirty test media. By implementing a chemical / diaphragm seal into the pressure control system, we ensure that equipment used for monitoring & controlling pressure (including pressure gauges, transmitters & switches) delivers a reliable test, as the operating fluid is clean.

All our pressure vessel systems have in-built intelligent control systems; enabling functions and environmental conditions to be accurately and efficiently automated and controlled. The user-friendly HMI screens are managed with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC’s) and pre-programmed with the latest software. This ensures the operating process is simple and self-managing; providing vast levels of flexibility to all required automation procedures. Data logging modules can also be integrated to effectively record any information measured or controlled by the system.
