Let us put our unmatched experience to work for you. LFM has been building fiberglass reinforced plastic tanks and process vessels for a wide range of applications since 1974. We utilize the latest in chop and filament winding equipment available in the industry today, thus supplying our customers with the highest quality fiberglass structures on the market. Our 83,000 square feet production facility is situated on 35 acres just east of Giddings, Texas (50 miles east of Austin).

Tee-Base Manholes are constructed as a two-piece manhole consisting of a fiberglass tee-base and manhole riser. The FRP tee-base is constructed of the same material as the adjacent FRP mainline pipe and is installed as an in-line tee. The branch outlet of the tee is positioned upward to provide access from the riser to the pipe. The riser is then lowered onto the tee to create a complete manhole. Typically, a pipe coupling is pre-fabricated into the bottom of the riser to provide for a watertight seal against the tee-base. The pipe coupling is provided by the manufacturer of the FRP sewer pipe.

Metering Manholes are available in a variety of configurations to accommodate both open-channel and closed-channel meters.  For closed-channel meters, internal ANSI flanges are sized and spaced to meet the requirements of flanged meters.  For open-channel metering, integral weirs and flumes, such as Parshall, Cutthroat Flumes, Parmer-Bowlus and “H” flumes are available.  To meet specific configuration requirements, a variety of accessories such as hinged dome lids, hatches, traffic-rated tops, ladders/steps, grating, mounting brackets and utility taps can be specified.

Our Oilfield Division provides fiberglass above-ground storage tanks for use in oilfield applications.  We have a full line of crude oil and produced water storage tanks, as well as tanks fit for saltwater disposal purposes.  Additionally, we provide a variety of smaller products such as equipment and data logging enclosures, manifold covers, and weather enclosures for well heads.

Gun barrel tanks provide economical oil / water separation for oilfield operators everywhere. LFM’s fiberglass gun barrel oil / water separators present outstanding value on several levels when compared to gun barrels manufactured from steel.  We have been a leader in the fiberglass tank industry since 1974, and we were the first oilfield tank manufacturer in the United States to achieve the API 12P certification for our tanks.  We utilize the latest equipment available in the industry today, which allows us to supply our customers with the very finest quality fiberglass gun barrels.
