LABEC provides two sizes of Biological Safety Cabinet. These cabinets are NSF Certified and provide protection to the operator, the sample and the environment. Featuring an airflow system that provides 60% air recirculation and 40% air exhaust, the cabinets are suitable for working in microbiological research in the absence of volatile or toxic chemicals, and radionuclide.

A Fume Hood is a kind of negative pressure ventilation system for protecting the operator and the laboratory environment. Room air flows inward from the front opening of the Fume Hood and is consistently ventilated by the extraction fan. As such, contaminated fumes, vapours, toxic gasses, aerosols and corrosive substance which may be generated during experiments are prevented from spreading to the operator or into the laboratory room. Ductless Fume hoods are available in 4 sizes. They are supplied as standard with two or four chemical filters, with the option to change half or all of the filters to HEPA filter.

Labec Homogeniser is a unique ergonomic and user friendly design. Used for small & medium sizes applications in the range of approximately 0.3ml up to 3000ml. The samples can optimally be homogenised, dispersed and mixed with the four available and exchangeable dispensing generators. With Rotor speed range up to 26000rpm (M-HOG-020) and Top speed up to approximately 12 m/s.  Used in applications for dispersing, homogenising, extractions, cell disruption, mixing, suspending. Various containers can be used and the impeller can be separated completely and it is easy to clean and be sterilised.

Labec Rotary Suspension Mixers are suitable for many applications where an end over end action is required, including blood and sample mixing. The tilting head allows for the disc to be held at any angle from horizontal to vertical enabling a wide range of different mixing actions. Clip discs are easily removable, and interchangeable. The special drive system allows for the disc to be stopped for the tube placement, without stopping the motor.

Labec Vertical Type Shaking Incubators are ideal for shaking cultures and samples in a constant temperature where accurate temperature and an orbital action is required. These models are available in heat only or refrigerated with heating model. A Digital PID temperature controller controls the temperature; the shaking functionality is orbital type with a speed range of 20-300 rpms (or 20-150rpm) with digital setting and display.
