Model BalScan - Ballistic Identification System
Markings on fired ammunition can be examined and compared using the BalScan system. Cartridge cases and bullets are scanned in 3D and saved to a database. The database can be searched automatically to produce a hit list of possible matches. After that, there is a full set of comparison functions prepared to help a forensic expert confirm the match.
Model ToolScan - System for Examination of Toolmarks
The ToolScan System by Laboratory Imaging represents a complete solution for forensic examination of tool marks. It is designed to provide live real time image and comfortable straightforward scanning of high resolution all-in-focus 2D and 3D images including photometric data. The 3D image is a texture-free representation of the real object, we call it a “digital silicone casting”. It removes all material-specific lights and shades and emphasizes the shape and the height profile. Images can be saved into a database and shared via network. A full set of comparison functions is at hand for precise matching.
Model ToolScan R360 - System for Examination of Toolmarks
ToolScan System is a complete solution for scanning, examination, and comparison of toolmarks such as: striations and imprints of plier jaws left on cylinder locks, cuts in wires, cuts in tires, test impressions in lead or toolmark castings. Plier jaws or blades can be scanned directly and compared with the marks, line intersections on signatures may be examined or broken objects may be scanned for physical match verification.
Model TrasoScan - Versatile System for Shoeprint and Fingerprint Examination
TrasoScan is a versatile system for examination of shoeprints, fingerprints, documents and other flat surfaces. Shoe soles and objects up to 22 cm of height can be scanned too using a close up lens. Objects as large as 107 x 71 mm can be displayed live on the screen. Larger objects up to 395 x 210 mm are scanned in high 1000 PPI resolution. The integrated vacuum table is suited for fixing the gelatine lifters, dust lifters, and paper which minimizes surface distortions and reflections.
