The Supreme Ventus is an intelligent, durable and self-regulating sealing solution that guarantees zero emissions of oil for seagoing vessels. It has a constant air flow which prevents an oil-to-water interface and drains any leakage into a monitoring tank. You avoid the use of expensive bio-oils and can keep sailing in American waters with mineral oils.

The Liquidyne 2-Stage is the standard design of the Liquidyne range. This seal is used in pumps that process relatively clean media that may contain abrasive particles that are no larger than 100 µm.

The Liquidyne 3-Stage (WA) pump seal is used in pumps that process water containing a relatively large number of abrasive particles or particles larger than 100 microns. Lagersmit developed the Liquidyne 3-Stage (WA), especially for pumps in which the pump water is polluted.

The Liquidyne 3-Stage Vacuum is specially designed for vertical pumps that start up dry. The vacuum allows the pump medium to hold a water column up to eight metres when the pump is at a standstill.

The Liquidyne LDS seals the pump and uses an external flush to lubricate, cool and clean the seal. The water flows through the seal, but also towards the pump side. This water flow also enables the Condition Monitoring function. Do you have a water pump in which the water chamber is dry when you start it up? Is the pressure in the pump lower than the atmospheric pressure? The Liquidyne LDS has been specially designed to cope with these conditions. It also allows for (many) abrasive particles larger than 100 micron flowing through the water.

In the event of a major water leak, safety on board should always be a priority. The Supreme Bulkhead seal is generally used to prevent flooding of the bulkhead seal’s adjacent compartments in the unlikely event of an accident. 

Conventional seals are not able to perform under harsh dredging conditions that cutter suction dredgers (CSDs) encounter every day during their activities. For this sole purpose, Lagersmit has developed a highly reliable pump gear bulkhead sealing solution, which can handle large bulkhead and shaft deformations and can operate in abrasive environments at draughts of 16 m. It is designed to keep you going and takes the next step in both performance and reliability.

The Supreme Water-Lubricated Forward Seal (STF-WL) is specially developed to prevent water leakage from your open water-lubricated stern tube system into your engine room. This environmentally friendly solution provides extra safety through the incorporated inflatable seal and is in line with the VGP/VIDA regulations.
