Lakeside supply a range of side stream filtration systems which incorporate cyclone separators, which are used for the removal of heavy particles with a gravity in the range of 2.2 to 2.8, they are designed for the removal or rust and corrosion products and are widely used for cleaning closed circuit heating systems and other systems that are affected by solids ingress.

Due to the nature of hospital buildings, tanks and pipework may have been installed for many years, with multiple changes of use. This may have led to low use areas or over-capacity storage, which over time may lead to the accumulation of biofilm on internal pipework. While chlorine neutralises as it passes through the system, it is not capable of breaking through biofilm, which can har-bour microorganisms such as Legionella and Pseudomonas. Chlorine dioxide is capable of destroying this biofilm, as well as any microorganisms be-neath. Provided the residual level is below 0.5mg/l, biofilm will also be removed slowly, avoiding blockage of downstream outlets.

The relative humidity in refrigerated fresh Meat counters is typically a very low 40%. This dry atmosphere has a harmful effect on products displayed. The Lakeside Fogger for fresh meat serve-over counters cuts dehydration and raises humidity to 98%+, bringing many benefits.
The Fogger works by a process of ultrasonics which produces moisture in the form of a fog. The level of fog can be turned up or down, so that it is hardly visible. The Fogger runs continuously to provide constant protection against dehydration and minimum wetting of product and trays.

Aquasol is made from pure salt and then formed into small pillow shaped tablets or block shaped and compressed to minimise chipping. Aquasol can be used for the regeneration of small to medium sized water softeners and dishwashers. It has been formulated to dissolve efficiently without causing the formation of troublesome fine salt particles. Aquasol is manufactured under the quality standard ISO9002 by British Salt and comes packed in handy 10kg and 25kg sacks and 8kg Packets of Blocks.

Granulite is produced from pure dried vacuum salt, analytically monitored for purity and consistency. It is formulated to give the optimum granular size particles of between 2mm and 6mm. Due to Granulites high purity, large surface area and porosity, it rapidly produces an ideal quality of brine required by high efficiency water softeners.

The M2 is the latest development in water softening technology and is currently the market leader in fully automatic water softener design. This new concept offers many important advantages over conventional softeners.

A boxed and neat compact unit complete with membrane and filters, the Waterlight X Ro is housed Reverse Osmosis System, ideal for applications where an reverse osmosis system is required but may need to be installed on a work surface or where it is visible. The Waterlight X RO will produce a good quality purified drinking water with ease. The installation is very minimal and therefore makes the Waterlight X RO an ideal system for the competent DIY Enthusiast. The System comes complete with a faucet tap ready to deliver lovely filtered water and step by step installations instructions. The system is a basic Ro but very popular and reliable. Waterlight Systems produce large capacities dependent upon water pressures, conditions and temperature. The Waterlight X RO comes with a pumping system necessary when the water pressure is less that 2.1 bar in order to effect a fast and efficient production of purified water.
