LEOI-70 is designed for colorimetric education at college and university level and it is an experimental system with a high performance-to-cost ratio. LEOI-70 is the basic model and LEOI-70A is the enhancement model. LEOI-70A includes a four-color area light source so that the colorimetric analysis of an illuminant can be performed.

LEOI-63 is specifically designed to measure blackbody radiation energy or the radiation energy of an emission light source. This system can automatically record the radiation spectrum of an emission light source. By varying the color temperature of the light source, the phenomenon as described by Wien`s displacement law can be observed through the recorded radiation spectrum of the light source. This system can be used to precisely verify the Planck`s law and Stefan-Boltzmann`s law. Based on the Planck`s formula, system software can calculate the theoretical radiation spectrum of an absolute blackbody at any given temperature.

Liquid crystal (LC) is an organic polymer compound that may flow like a liquid, but the molecules may be aligned in a crystal-like orientation. When LC molecules are aligned, the material becomes optically anisotropic. A LC screen is a spatial light modulator (SLM) based on the electro-optic modulation property of the LC material. This type of modulator is electronically addressable so that both input and output signals of the device can be computer-controlled. A LC-SLM can be used for optical signal processing, such as computed holography. It is suitable for optical experiment education in opto-electronic information, physics and other related areas.
