LAT Water is a leading provider of innovative wastewater treatment solutions and has worked with clients in the plastic recycling space to treat complex wastewater containing high levels of total dissolved solids (TDS), sulphates, ammonia, and more.

The future of the landfill industry depends on managing the legacy issues of the sites, more than 50% of the costs relate to disposal of the leachate. Reducing these and recovering resources from the leachate is critical for the circular economy – we are excited to be working with LAT Water on achieving these objectives.

The Daxin landfill project at Shenyang was the first cooperation between the Welle Group and LAT Water and has proved highly successful. Welle are satisfied with the assistance provided by LAT Water and the plant’s performance since January 2020 and are keen to build a long term relationship with LAT Water to exploit the technology in China.
