L.D. King, Inc. has worked with most of the major residential development companies operating through the Southern California are to prepare: lotting studies, infrastructure capacity analyses, tentative and final subdivision maps and site plans.  For these clients, we formulate development plans and entitlement strategies designed to maximize return-on-investment and fully address all relevant environmental issues that may impede project realization.

Our Construction Management Division provides field inspection and construction contract administration services, including inspection of construction work to ensure compliance with plans and specifications, inspection of traffic control systems, daily documentation of construction activities, verification of quantities and payments to contractors, preparation and processing of contract change orders, review of construction schedules, conducting field construction coordination meetings and contract close-out procedures. Our team also performs constructability reviews of projects prior to construction to minimize field problems.

L.D. King, Inc. is well qualified to provide the surveying services required for any project assignment. Our highly qualified staff of in-house engineers and surveyors has extensive experience in surveying, mapping, transportation and highway improvements, facilities design, utility coordination and relocation. All of our survey crews are experienced in surveying requirements for major roadway projects, including the California Department of Transportation's "Survey Manual and District Staking Procedures Manual." All work is performed under the supervision of a Professional Land Surveyor or Registered Engineer.
