Fittings shall be ductile iron, slanted, deep bell, gasket style made in accordance with ASTM A536, Grade 65-45-12 and AWWA C153. Fittings shall have four lugs to accommodate joint restraints and other fittings. Bell section shall allow 5-degree freedom of pipe deflection within the bell end. All gaskets shall be manufactured of high grade EPDM rubber and shall be rib-enforced “U-Cup” design to seal and assist in restraining pipe at all pressures. Epoxy Coating on interior and exterior surfaces of fittings shall be fusion bonded epoxy, 10-12 mil thickness. The epoxy coated fittings shall pass 90-Day immersion tests per CSA Z245.20-98. All IPS, DPS and DIN Metric fittings shall have FBE coating as standard finish. All fittings shall be manufactured by Leemco, Inc., U.S.A.

Lateral to mainline connection shall be made using Leemco Lateral Adapter. Adapter shall be made of ductile iron grade 65-45-12 (ASTM A536). Epoxy Coating on interior and exterior surfaces of fittings shall be fusion bonded epoxy, 10-12 mil thickness. The epoxy coating shall pass 90-Day immersion tests per CSA Z245.20-98. Lateral Adapter shall be offered with self-restrained bell, MPT and FPT outlets. The Adapter inlet shall have a swivel base to orient the outlet to any 360 degree position for ease and stress free installation. Non self-restrained Lateral Adapter shall be equipped with tapped and plugged 1” side outlet. Adapter shall be used with Leemco saddle or tee. All Lateral Adapters shall be manufactured by Leemco, Inc., U.S.A.

All threaded fittings smaller than 2” shall be made of 100% 304-Series stainless steel. Fittings shall be Class 150 per ASTM A351, CF8 AISI304, ANSI 16.5. Fittings shall be rated for 300 PSI CWP (Cold Working Pressure) and 150 PSI SWP (Steam Working Pressure). All fittings shall be manufactured by Leemco, Inc., U.S.A.

Saddle bodies shall be constructed of ductile iron per ASTM A536, Grade 65-45-12, AWWA C153 standards. RSST, RSDT, RSLS- and RDLS-Series straps, and hardware shall be 304 stainless steel. Saddle gaskets shall be constructed of high grade EPDM rubber per ANSI/AWWA C111/A21.11 standards. Epoxy coating shall be 10-12MM thick to protect against corrosive soils. 2” LAT Bell outlet accepts Leemco lateral connections. All saddles shall be manufactured by Leemco, Inc., U.S.A.

All quick coupling valves will be installed inside the Leemco LVB-12R ductile iron valve box. Valve box body and lid is constructed of Class 350 ductile iron per ASTMA A536, Grade 65-45-12, AWWA C153 standards. The ductile iron body and lid have a FBE (fusion-bonded-epoxy) coating, ANSI/AWWA C116/A21.16-09, NSF 61 and CSA Z245.20-98, 12-14 MIL. All connection fittings, ball valve and lid removal tool are constructed of 304 stainless steel. All valve boxes shall be manufactured by Leemco, Inc. U.S.A.

Joint restraints shall have blunt cast serrations, so damage of the outer pipe surface will not occur. Machined threaded restraints shall not be allowed. All ball valves shall be constructed of 304 or 316 stainless steel. Bronze or brass ball valves will not be allowed. All ball valves shall be manufactured by Leemco, Inc., U.SA

All gate valves shall be constructed of 304 or 316 stainless steel. Bronze or brass gate valves will not be allowed. Valve cross handle or wheel handle shall be constructed of 304 or 316 stainless steel. All gate valves shall be manufactured by Leemco, Inc., U.S.A.
