Filter Technology
Lehmann - Model USF µ - Negative Pressure Suction Filter
The negative pressure suction filter cleans liquids such as coolant or process water without the use of filter aids, by extraction. It can be used in all kinds of areas such as grinding, turning, drilling, milling, lapping as well in graphite machining.
Lehmann - Flat Bed Filter
The flat-bed filter is used for fully automatic, continuous cleaning of cooling lubricants and process water. It is characterised above all by a high level of purity. It is easy to maintain and has a long service life, making it one of the most cost-effective solutions combined with very low investment costs.
Lehmann - Inclined Bed Filter
The inclined bed filter is used for fully automatic, continuous cleaning of cooling lubricants and process water. Its compact design means that a high level of cleanliness can be achieved even in conditions where space is at a premium. The filter system is suitable above all for metal processing, especially with graphite and aluminium, and can also be used in the chemicals industry, the foodstuffs sector as well as washing plants. Its simple maintenance and long service life as well as 100% exploitation of the filter material make it one of the most cost-effective filter solutions. Further advantages of this filter system are the pre-drying of the filter cake and simple separation of the waste product from the nonwoven material by means of a scraper.
Lehmann - Compact Filters
The new compact filter is designed for the filtration of oil, water, emulsion and solutions with a minimum requirement of space. Working on the same principle such as paper belt filters, it can filter between 30 and 1500 l/m – according to the customer-specific design.
Lehmann - Magnetic Filter
The magnetic filter is used for fully automatic, continuous cleaning of liquid media to remove ferromagnetic substances. The magnetic filter consists of a stainless steel housing with an electrically driven magnetic roll that is jacketed by a thin-walled stainless steel sleeve. Optionally, it can be equipped with high-performance neodymium magnets, and its modular construction means it can be individually adapted to the available space.
Conveyor Technology
Lehmann - Scraper Chain Conveyor
Scraper chain conveyors are used for transporting short, broken metal chips or small parts, particularly steel, needle and cast iron chips. It can be integrated as an individual conveyor with container or in a plant. A conveyor belt comprising two roller chains connected by steel strips transports the material being conveyed continuously from the base of the container to the discharge point. A special conveying system for soft metal chips with a new system of preseparation is revolutionizing the discharge of aluminium chips and soft chips from the machining process.
Lehmann - Hinged Belt Conveyor
The hinged belt conveyor is especially suitable to dealing with steel chips and woolly swarf as well as dry and wet processing. It can be implemented as an individual conveyor or an interlinked device. An endless slat-band conveyor transport the chips to the discharge point.
Lehmann - Magnetic Conveyor
The magnetic conveyor is used for transporting short, broken chips out of machine tools and similar plants, in particular when wear-resistant materials are used and if ferromagnetic substances have to be transported. Use as a combined conveying and filter system is also sensible, for example to achieve coolant/dirt separation at an early stage. Optionally, there is provision for integrating a high-performance neodymium magnet.
Lehmann - Screw Conveyors
The screw conveyor is used for transporting short, broken metal chips or small parts, especially steel, needle and cast iron chips. It can be implemented as an individual conveyor or an interlinked device if space is at a premium.
Lehmann - Chip Redistributor System
The chip redistributor is a system for transporting away various kinds of chips, for example from mechanical machining. The chips created are transported away from the workplace by a chip conveyor system. The chip redistributor is designed to distribute the conveyed chips over several containers.
