Superheated Steam Production from Agricultural Derived Waste for Electricity Generation
2016 Enterra Foggia (IT): Power Plant based on residues from locally produced agricultural crop such as olives, grapes and tomatoes – Spreader stoker fired combustion grate boiler with 43MWth capacity producing superheated steam 62 bar 420 °C for decentralized electrical production - 120,000 tonnes of waste recovered with a reduction in CO2 emissions of 58,000 tonnes per year.
BFB Combustion of Waste Wood and Paper Rejects for Steam Generation and CO2 Emission Reduction
2014 Robin Roussillon: Waste wood Type B & C plus waste paper rejects - Bubbling Fluidized Bed (BFB) combustion of 24MWth producing saturated steam at 40 bars supplying the chemical platform of Roussillon replacing coal - 68,000 tonnes of waste recovered with reduction in CO2 emissions of 56,000 tonnes per year.
