The Levitronix^® PuraLev^® iF30 Single-Use flow controller is designed for for demanding fluid applications in bioprocessing where extremely low shear, pulsation-free, and continuously controlled flow ensure the highest product yield. Based on the principle of magnetic levitation, the pump impeller is suspended, contact-free, inside a sealed casing and is driven by the magnetic field of the motor resulting in a continuous smooth flow. The motor and pump controller, as well as the flow converter, are integrated into the driver housing resulting in a significantly reduced footprint. The pump head is made of gamma stable polypropylene that meets the highest biocompatibility requirements such as FDA, USP-VI, and BSE/TSE free. The pump head is disposable and can be exchanged in few seconds.
