Plants - Greenhouse Monitoring - LI-600 and LI-600N

LI-COR - Model LI-600 - Handheld Porometer/ Fluorometer

The LI-600 is the only handheld instrument that measures both stomatal conductance and chlorophyll fluorescence over the same leaf area.

LI-COR - Model LI-600N - Leaf Porometer and Fluorometer System

The LI-600N Porometer/ Fluorometer is the only instrument specifically optimized to measure the stomatal conductance and chlorophyll fluorescence of a single needle, narrow leaf, or blade of grass. Measure stomatal conductance and chlorophyll fluorescence simultaneously from single needles, narrow leaves, and grasses.

Ecosystem Monitoring and Analysis Tools

LI-COR Carbon Node - Model LI-720 - Eddy Covariance (EC) Carbon Monitoring System

Fast, accurate carbon dioxide flux measurements. The Carbon Node is an all-new, first-of-its-kind eddy covariance (EC) carbon monitoring solution, providing direct measurements researchers can be confident in. Not only is it accurate, it’s also an eddy covariance system that’s easy, fast, and scalable, too.

LI-COR - Weather Stations & Wireless Sensor Network

Streamlined data collection for climate, water, and soil conditions with research-grade cellular stations and sensors. Monitor Conditions Remotely and Act Using Data With Industry-Leading Accuracy. Whether your focus is meteorology, hydrology, agriculture, renewable energy, or business-scale monitoring solutions, accurate, timely data is critical. Rugged and affordable with flexible configurations, HOBO weather stations track conditions with industry-leading precision in real time to support your goals and decision-making.

Soil - Soil Gas Flux Solutions

LI-COR - Soil Gas Flux Survey System

LI-COR soil gas flux survey systems are designed with flexibility in mind. Pair the Smart Chamber with a gas analyzer of your choosing and connect using your mobile device or laptop via the built-in Wi-Fi web server. See live flux data with a LI-COR gas analyzer or connect to a third-party analyzer and the chamber will log GPS and ancillary data for your flux measurements.
LI-COR survey systems are completely self-powered by long-lasting batteries and are readily portable. This lets you place your soil collars where you want—even in hard to reach locations—and keeps you moving from collar to collar quickly and easily.

Light - Light Measurement

LI-COR - Model LI-180 - Spectrometer

Plant growth and reproduction are driven by photosynthetically active radiation (PAR), defined as wavelengths between 400 and 700 nanometers. This interval is often separated into three distinct “color” bands for plant research. Modifying the intensity of red, blue, green wavelengths, along with additional near-UV (380-400 nm) and far-red (700-780 nm) bands, can influence a variety of plant characteristics, such as growth rate, chemical composition, and more. The precision linear image sensor of the LI-180 records intensity and composition of these five wavebands at the single-nanometer level with a single click. Optimize the composition of your supplemental lighting and track your spectrometer data over time for long-term validation of your lights and lighting strategy. Monitor degradation of your custom lighting system, plan for seasonal changes or upgrades, and design species-specific light recipes using the LI-180 Spectrometer.

Water - Aquatic Carbon Analysis

LI-COR - Dissolved Inorganic Carbon Analyzer

Characterize inorganic carbon species in an aquatic carbonate system. DIC measurements help researchers better understand the role of aquatic systems in the global carbon cycle—especially in the context of ocean acidification and climate change. For instance, DIC measurements can provide insights into carbon behavior—such as carbon sources and sinks and the assessment of carbon fluxes. It can also help explain its dispersal (e.g., biogeochemical, chemical, or oceanic uptake).
