UV Germicidal Lamps

Light-Sources - Low Pressure Mercury Lamps

LightSources and strategic partner, LightTech manufacture alow pressure mercury lamp(LP Hg lamp) that provides highly efficient short wavelength ultraviolet energy.  Our LP Hg lamp converts forty percent of the electrical power into UVC radiation for germicidal applications.  With our proprietary LongLife+™ coating process, the low pressure mercury lamps have an operating life of up to 16,000 hours, maintaining an end-of-life UVC output of 80%.*

Light-Sources - Low Pressure Amalgam Lamps

LightSources offers innovativelow-pressure amalgam lampscustom-engineered for industries seeking efficient and reliable germicidal solutions.

Light-Sources - Medium Pressure UV Lamps

Ultraviolet (UV) disinfection technology is a pivotal method for disinfecting water, air, and surfaces, effectively inactivating pathogens without the use of harmful chemicals. At the core of this technology are UV lamps, designed to emit radiation that destroys the DNA of harmful microorganisms. Among these,Medium Pressure UV lamps(MPUV) stand out for their efficiency and broad-spectrum capabilities. LightSources Inc. offers superior quality vacuum-sealed medium pressure ultraviolet (MPUV or MPHO) lamps for water, air, and surface disinfection applications.

Light-Sources - UVC Ozone Lamps

LightSources and LightTech offer UVC ozone lamps which are constructed of high-quality quartz glass. The wavelength of ultraviolet (UV) emissions is determined by the type of fused quartz used in constructing the envelope of the germicidal lamp. UVC germicidal lamps emit UV radiation between 100 and 280 nanometers (nm) for highly effective disinfection power.

Light-Sources - Quartz Sleeves

Quartz sleeves are a good investment, offering protection against air and water flow, breakage, leakage, temperature fluctuations, and  environmental hazards. LightSources offer a variety of standard and custom quartz sleeves and jackets that can be applied to a range of germicidal UVC lamp types, including standard, high output (HO), and amalgam. We offer OEMs numerous options, such as open, closed (domed), flared or beaded end and fire polish finishing.

Light-Sources - Electronic Ballasts

Light Sources and strategic partner LightTech offer an extensive line of electronic ballasts, covering a wide range of UVC germicidal lamps.  Choosing the right ballast is essential because system performance is dependent on the interaction between the lamp and ballast.

Specialty Fluorescent Products

Light Sources - Model HCFL (T2-T12) - LCD Lighting

LCD Lighting produces both hot-cathode (HCFL) and cold cathode (CCFL) fluorescent lamps for many OEM’s worldwide.  Hot cathode lamps are found in many applications from home and retail to the the highly custom/ task oriented lamps for business and industrial applications.  Custom fluorescent lamps in business are found in OEM applications such as scanners, vision /inspection systems, graphic arts and medical devices and even the outdoor sign industry.  The HFCL style lamps can be made with internal reflectors or apertures for when more directional control is required.

Light Sources - Aperture & Reflector Lamps

Fluorescent reflector and aperture lamps are foremost designed to control the direction of the light output.  Combined with an effective  fixture design,  controlling the inherently uniform lamp output along the length of the fluorescent tube is achieved. Although most aperture and reflectors are used in linear T12 (38.1mm) lamps,  they can be designed into  any lamp style from straight to bent lamp geometry and into lamp diameters as small as 3.0mm.

Light Sources - Compact Fluorescent Lamps (CFL)

The LightSources group and LCD Lighting, manufacturer of miniature and subminiature fluorescent lamps, offer Compact Fluorescent Lamps, CFL bulbs, in a wide range of standard configurations with custom configurations available.

Neon and Fluorescent Sign Lamps

Voltarc Technologies Inc., already recognized as a leader in the signage industry and architectural lighting, joined the Light Sources group in 2009. This highly respected manufacturer of fluorescent and neon sign lighting components has long been known for its excellence in the development of specialty fluorescent lamps, ultraviolet curing lamps and related electrical lampholders and wiring devices.
