LightPath Technologies products
LightPath - Infrared Imaging Lens Assemblies
Leveraging our Infrared Optics manufacturing technologies, as well as our Optical System Design and vertical integration capabilities, LightPath offers both custom and standard lens assemblies for Thermal Imaging. Our Thermal Imaging Lens Assemblies (TILA) utilize a variety of materials, including primarily our proprietary BD6 Chalcogenide Glass. Additionally, both standard and custom assemblies can be offered with standard AR, High Durability AR (HDAR), Diamond Like Carbon (DLC) and spectral filter coatings, all developed and produced in-house.
LightPath BlackDiamond - Infrared Chalcogenide Glass
BlackDiamond™ Infrared Chalcogenide Glass (BD6™) by LightPath is a reliable alternative to germanium for infrared optics, designed especially for applications requiring high infrared transmission in short-wave, mid-wave, and long-wave IR ranges (~1-14 µm). It is an amorphous material based on chalcogen elements that offers superior thermal and environmental stability, making it suitable for harsh thermal and mechanical conditions. BD6™ can be fabricated using traditional diamond-turning or precision glass molding technologies, which help reduce production costs while maintaining high imaging precision.
LightPath Mantis - Broadband Infrared Cameras
Uncooled infrared camera, covering the entire 2-14µm range. VGA (640 x 480) Resolution. Achromatic Lens Design – does not require re-focusing for different wavelengths. Standard with 19mm, f1.1 lens. Other lenses available upon request. CameraLink video output, Other options available upon request (USB 3.0, MIPI, etc.). Low weight, <500 grams. Utilized LightPath’s Proprietary Infrared Glasses.
LightPath EdgeIR - AI-Ready Thermal Cameras for Edge Computing
Introducing EdgeIR™, the advanced AI accelerator integrated into our camera’s hardware and video pipeline. Powered by the Hailo-8 AI accelerator, boasting 26 Tera-Operations Per Second (TOPS), EdgeIR™ offers unparalleled performance for real-time data processing. By embedding this powerful accelerator directly into the camera, we eliminate the need for external processing units, significantly reducing latency and enhancing the efficiency of edge computing applications.
