Air Dehydration Units
Logis-Tech - Refrigerant Dehumidifiers
Refrigerant Dehumidifiers thrive in warm, humid conditions. A refrigerant dehumidifier is basically an optimized air conditioner. The goal is no longer to cool the air but use the process to remove moisture. Air is passed across a cold evaporator coil where the lower temperature causes condensation to occur. This water is either captured in a tank or plumbed away. The cold air is then passed across a hot condenser coil and the air becomes warmer and drier. As the incoming air becomes dryer the dew point (the point where condensation occurs) becomes lower and requires the evaporator coils to become colder. When the coil drops lower than freezing the moisture freezes to the coils, which then require defrosting. Refrigerate dehumidifier operating range is normally 56°F - 95°F.
Logis-Tech - Desiccant Dehumidifiers
Desiccant dehumidifiers thrive in cooler temperatures and excel when low relative humidity and dew points are required. These units can operate in sub-freezing environments. Units have a normal operating range of -40°F to 120°F. Desiccant dehumidification requires a desiccant media, airflow and heat to reactivate (purge moisture from the desiccant). A typical setup involves a desiccant wheel or desiccant rotor that slowly spins within a sealed chassis. The wheel is segmented into two non-equal parts usually around a 75%-25% ratio. Moisture-laden air is pulled through the larger portion of the rotor where the desiccant material absorbs the moisture and the conditioned air exits warmer and dryer and is distributed as Process Air.
Mobile Dehumidification Units (MDUs)

Others
Logis-Tech - Model DCS - Dehumidified Container System
The Dehumidified Container System (DCS) family of products are Controlled Humidity Protection (CHP) envelopes that provides for a secure relocatable corrosion inhibiting and mold and mildew reducing environment for all types of gear and equipment. The system was built with modularity and customization in mind. The size of the container, the type of dehumidifier based on operating environment and controls are interchangeable to provide a solution for most user requirements. Each Self-contained DCS dehumidifier operates as a closed loop system, recirculating air to improve efficiency and reduce run-times. Set-points are user controlled to provide the best environment for the materials inside. Data-logging and Operating trend chart options are available. Systems may be networked for ease of operation confirmation and data retrieval. Security Alert features for reporting unauthorized breach of seal are also available.
Logis & Tech - Model VIA/AIA - Vehicle/Aircraft Interface Adapters
Vehicle/Aircraft Interface Adapters (VIA/AIA) allow rapid connect/disconnect of dehumidifiers from the air craft, ground equipment or container it is designed to protect. Removal of coatings, bags and tarps can take significantly longer decreasing deployment speed and providing little protection to highly complex internal systems. Each adapter is manufactured for use on a specific piece of ground equipment or aircraft to allow maximum air flow and a positive seal. Adapters are ruggedly built and require no modification of the ground equipment or aircraft being protected. Adapters are currently available for combat vehicles and selected aircraft as listed below. Logis-Tech can also custom fabricate new adapters to meet your needs. These adapters, in conjunction with our ESS® system, allow the benefits of corrosion protection to ground equipment and aircraft in an operational environment.
