Water Well Drills - Mechanical Portable Water Well Drills

Lone Star - Model LS100 - Water Well Drill

The LS100 is the original small, DIY water well drill rig. It’s economically priced and designed specifically for water well drilling in developing nations. The LS100 efficiently drills a 6-inch borehole to 100 feet in sandy and clay soils. Its heavy-duty welded steel frame and robust 3,500-pound winch stand up to demanding drilling applications and the convenient swivel design allows the rotary to be moved for easy access to borehole. As a reliable, easy-to-operate drill, the LS100 has brought water to more than 50 countries. The complete drill package easily fits in a 91-by-24-by-30-inch crate for convenient transportation.

Lone Star - Model LS200 - Water Well Drill

Featuring the same compact design and user-friendly operating features as the LS100, the LS200 uses rugged M250 drill pipe to efficiently reach 200-foot depths. The LS200 is capable of drilling a 6-inch borehole to 200 feet in sandy and clay terrain and is easy to operate, tear down and transport for maximum productivity. The entire drill package easily fits in a 91-by-36-by-30-inch crate for transporting to remote locations. The drill’s heavy-duty welded steel frame and 3,500-pound winch stand up to demanding drilling applications while its convenient swivel design allows for easy access to borehole.

Water Well Drills - Hydraulic Portable Water Well Drills

Lone Star - Model LS200H - Water Well Drill

The LS200H is excellent for drilling applications that require the added power and durability of a hydraulic system. The LS200H features a simple hydraulic system with pullback/pushdown force of up to 5,000 pounds for efficiently drilling to 200 feet in sand, clay and soft rock formations. The drill’s heavy-duty welded steel frame and rugged hydraulics stand up to the most demanding applications. The LS200H features a convenient bypass flow control for pushing to maximum force when anchored, and the drill’s swivel base design swings the rotary aside for quick, easy access to the borehole.

Lone Star - Model LS200H+ - Water Well Drill

The LS200H+ features the same operator-inspired design as the LS200H, but with a more robust hydraulic system and more powerful engine. Its high-capacity, load-bearing swivel coupled with a high-pressure hydraulic motor provides enhanced reliability and serviceability. With the addition of tricone roller bits and drill collars, the LS200H+ efficiently drills to 200 feet, even in rock formations. Its heavy-duty frame and reinforced base provide added durability.

Lone Star - Model LS300H - Water Well Drill

The LS300H takes the hydraulic drill line to new depths thanks to a powerful 13-horsepower mud pump. The water well drill features the same user-friendly design and hassle-free operation as the LS200H, but with a drilling depth of up to 300 feet. Its heavy-duty welded steel frame and re-enforced table base provide added durability while the drill’s powerful hydraulics delivers pull-back and push-down forces up to 5,000 pounds. The rig’s three-way ball valve enables quick bypass mudflow when adding pipe, and the swivel base design moves the rotary aside to access the borehole.

Lone Star - Model LS300H+ - Water Well Drill

The LS300H+ has the power to satisfy the most demanding drilling applications. The unit’s bypass flow control provides 5,000 pounds of powerful pushing force when anchored, ensuring the drill reaches its desired depth every time. Optional tricone roller bits and drill collars adapt the drill to a variety of conditions, helping it push through rock formations. The water well drill’s heavy-duty frame and reinforced base provide added durability. Additionally, the drill’s high-capacity load-bearing swivel offers extended seal life, virtually eliminating costly downtime.

Water Well Drills - Trailer Mounted Water Well Drills

Lone Star - Model LST1 - Water Well Drill

The LST1 drill offers the perfect combination of performance and portability. Suitable for use in a variety of soils, the LST1 drills a 6-inch borehole up to 300 feet. The robust hydraulic system generates up to 5,000 pounds of pull/push-back force for efficient drilling in rugged terrain, and an optional anchor kit enables the unit to push beyond the trailer’s weight. A convenient bypass flow system allows precise control and adjustment to achieve desired push-down force while a three-way ball valve enables the operator to quickly bypass mudflow when adding pipe.

Lone Star - Model LST1+ - Water Well Drill

Providing greater speed and power compared to the LST1, the LST1+ features a 3,000-psi hydraulic system for a rotary speed of 95 rpm at 10 gpm. The LST1+ is capable of drilling a 6-inch borehole to a depth of 300 feet. The drill’s robust hydraulic system generates up to 5,000 pounds of pull/push-back force for efficient drilling in rugged terrain. The convenient bypass flow system allows precise control and adjustment to achieve desired push-down force, while a three-way ball valve enables the operator to quickly bypass mudflow when adding pipe. The drill’s swivel base design swings the rotary aside for quick, easy access to the borehole.

Lone Star - Model LS300T+ - Water Well Drill

The LS300T+ offers ultimate performance in a complete package. The drill features our most powerful hydraulics for drilling 6-inch boreholes up to 300 feet in any conditions, including hard rock. The robust hydraulic system generates up to 5,000 pounds of pull/push-back force, and the anchor kit makes it possible to push beyond the trailer’s weight. The drill’s bypass flow system allows for precise control to achieve the desired push-down force, and a three-way ball valve enables the operator to quickly bypass the mudflow when adding pipe.

Lone Star - Model LS400T+ - Water Well Drill

The LS400T+ is the largest in the Lone Star line, boasting a 400-foot drilling depth. The drill’s hydraulic system features pull-back force of up to 15,000-pounds and push-down force up to 9,000-pounds for getting through dense rock formations. A three-way ball valve enables the operator to quickly bypass mudflow when adding pipe. It easily adapts to down-the-hole hammer drilling and offers an optional foam injection/lubricator. The LS400T+ ships fully assembled in a 20-foot container.
