These pumps combine the advantages of an open impeller with those of the AISI 316 stainless steel construction, which is particularly suited for handling moderately aggressive liquids with suspended solids.

The Lowara SHO is a centrifugal pump with an open and recessed impeller design allowing free passage for solids. Maximum free passage is 40 mm. The main application is different types of washing machines and washing equipment where the water can contain solids and be slightly aggressive. SHO is made of fabricated stainless steel AISI 316. To enhance the wear resistance and prolong the life time, the impeller is casted in ASTM CF8M. The SHO has a standard mechanical seal according to EN 12756 and is available in different material options. There’s also a version, SHD, with double mechanical seals for extra secuity. SHO is availble in a close coupled version for compact footprint or with a stub shaft motor and a coupling.
