The course is designed for millwrights, mechanics, and craftsmen who must become proficient in the use of their laser alignment tool in performing day-to-day alignments of coupled rotating machinery. The course includes both practical hands-on and theoretical instruction. Proper alignment principles and practices are stressed, including soft foot, troubleshooting and special applications.

This course delivers comprehensive knowledge of the principles of machinery shaft alignment and the various methods to measure and correct alignment, with emphasis on laser shaft alignment technology. It is designed for millwrights, repair technicians, supervisors, and engineers who must become proficient in alignment techniques, correct soft foot problems, and troubleshoot complex alignment problems. The course is an intensive mix of hands-on practice and in-depth instruction in alignment methodologies.

The Easy-Laser® XT190 Belt Alignment Tool allows accurate and efficient laser belt alignment of sheaves and pulleys. The XT190 components are mounted magnetically to the face of the pulley and can be used on all types of sheaves, pulleys such as V-belt, timing belt, and flat belt, as well as on sprockets and chain drives.
