LUIS R7-S compact rear view system with automatic shutter camera. The LUIS R7-S compact system has been specially designed for trucks, commercial vehicles, motor homes and heavy-duty vehicles such as excavators and construction equipment, combine harvesters and tractors. Its special features include the compact shutter camera made of extremely robust stainless steel. Over a decade of knowledge and experience at LUIS has been incorporated into the development of this camera. The cover closes automatically to provide the camera with additional protection against dirt, rain and snow. To provide powerful night vision even in total darkness (0 lux), the LUIS R7-S stainless steel compact camera is equipped with infrared LEDs and provides up to 15 m of visibility in the dark. The large viewing angle of 150 degrees enables a wide area behind the vehicle to be seen. The robust design means that it can be used in extreme conditions.

The HD camera stands out with a much sharper image and excellent detail for even greater safety when manoeuvring. The LUIS HD camera is equipped with powerful infrared LEDs for improved visibility in poor lighting conditions and even in total darkness (0 lux). The robust design means that it can be used in extreme conditions. The camera has a stainless steel sun shade and stainless steel base, and meets the highest IP69k rating for protection against water and dust. It can operate at temperatures from -20 to +70°C.

The LUIS camera system includes a heavy-duty camera, the WiFi video transmitter and the free WiFiAV-HD app. The camera image is sent wirelessly to your smartphone’s display via WiFi. The required WiFiAV-HD app is available for free from the Apple and Android app stores. The night vision LEDs switch on automatically in the dark to ensure the driver has good visibility during every vehicle movement, even at night and in twilight.
