Connectors - OptoLink

OptoLink - Fibre Optic Connector

MacArtney OptoLink connectors combine robustness and reliability with flexibility and ease of use. They provide low noise fibre optic connections for one to four optical fibre passes in a wide range of configurations for connector and penetrator types. Thanks to spherical lens technology, MacArtney OptoLink connectors are easy to clean and reassemble in the field. OptoLink connectors are robust and reliable and are rated for depths of up to 8,000 metres. Their flexible cables also make the connectors easy to work with. MacArtney OptoLink connectors are available in flange (FCR), bulkhead (BCR) and cable mount (CCP, CCR) configurations from stock in both Nickel Aluminium Bronze C63000 and stainless steel AISI 316 housings.

OptoLink - Single-Fibre Connector

MacArtney’s single-fibre connector has been specially developed to offer reliable fibre optic connection in a minimum sized connector. Designed for subsea equipment manufacturers, the low insertion loss and low back reflection make this connector perfect for high speed data and video transmission. The rugged stainless steel design ensures the connector is robust and reliable – whether on the deck of a vessel, on a platform or when deployed at high ocean depth. The OptoLink single-fibre connector is available in a bulk-head (BCR) and cable mount (CCP) configuration with minimal attenuation between the mated connector pairs. Connectors are rated at 6,000 metres and have a stainless steel AISI 316 housing as standard.

OptoLink - Fibre Penetrator

The MacArtney OptoLink fibre penetrator is specifically designed to withstand the challenges of system infrastructure at depths of up to 6,000 metres. Its unique depth rating also means that integrity is certified for almost the entire global ocean floor. The MacArtney penetrator design is extremely versatile. It is available with 2 types of standard housing: 5/8” thread or FCR. The FCR is available with straight, angled or custommade housing. They are interchangeable and can be replaced should customer requirement change over time. The OptoLink fibre penetrator is designed to use standard parts, ensuring tried and tested quality and reasonable pricing. It is also available for fast delivery.
