The SC262 is the largest shredder-chipper in the MacKissic line. This machine will process material as fast as it can be fed into the machine. The shredder will pulverize leaves and yard debris turning unsightly piles into useful mulch and compost. The chipper will practically self feed, reducing trees, branches, and saplings into thumbnail sized chips in a matter of seconds. This machine is built tough and durable. The SC262 features an internal anti-wrap sleeve to help prevent wet and heavy material from clogging the machine, thus reducing downtime and maintenance. The shredder has 48 free-swinging hammers that can be reversed four times! This reduces cost of replacement hammers. The SC262 is highway towable with a strong 7-gauge reinforced steel trailer with independent flexride suspension for smoother towing and less wear on the machine. The chipper has two heat-treated steel blades that are resharpenable and adjustable.

The Mighty Mac SC183 by MacKissic is a brute of a shredder-chipper, and that is why it is nicknamed the `Brute.` The Brute has a proven history of quality and performance. First produced in 1989 the SC180 was powered by a 14 horsepower Briggs and Stratton Vanguard engine. Since then the Brute has gone through three model upgrades to today`s SC183 powered by an 18 horsepower Briggs and Stratton Vanguard engine. The Brute features a highway towable trailer for easy maneuverability. The shredder has 48 free-swinging hammers which produce over 114,350 hits a minute, pulverizing just about any organic material. The hammers can be reversed four times, each time providing a new cutting surface. The chipper has one resharpenable knife. The knife can be easily reached by removing the access cover. The SC183 has a two groove centrifugal heavy duty clutch for easy starting.

The SC1650 is the perfect machine for the homeowner who needs strong equipment but does not want to pay the commercial duty price. The SC1650 is built by MacKissic with the same quality standards and craftsmanship that all other products are made. In its shredding section, the SC1650 features 36 free-swinging hammers. This hammermill will produce up to 86,400 hits a minutes. It just pulverizes material put into the hopper chute. The chipper has a single heat-treated steel knife that aggressively chips branches and small trees up to 4 inches thick. In less then 60 seconds, the chipper will turn a 10 foot branch into clean, crisp, thumbnail sized chips that are great for mulching! This hammermill shredder-chipper is fit with a centrifugal clutch, which allows for easy no load starting on the operator and machine.

The 12P Mighty Mac shredder-chipper by MacKissic is the right model for the homeowner looking for toughness, versatility, and speed on those big jobs. Choose performance as powerful as your needs. The 12P models feature a wide opening hopper that allows for processing bushels of material fast and efficiently. The 12P will handle leaves, small brush, stalks, grass, and yard and garden debris. The hopper has a blowback shield to minimize throwback or unprocessed material. When the material is easily processed, the blowback shield can be opened up for easier and faster loading.

The SC800 shredder-chipper is the smallest hammermill style shredder-chipper offered by MacKissic. However, do not let the size fool you; the SC800 will shred, mulch, and pulverize leaves and other yard debris. It will chip branches and small saplings up to 2-7/8 inches thick. The SC800 is as powerful as your needs. This hammermill shredder-chipper is fit with a centrifugal clutch, which allows for easy no load starting on the operator and machine. Unlike direct drive machines, the centrifugal clutch allows the the engine to disengage when stressed under a heavy load. This allows the engine to gain RPMs faster and more efficiently pulverize the material. The shredder-chipper is small enough to fit in the garage taking up only two square feet of room. The SC800 features a discharge adjustment allowing the user to focus where the pile of processed material goes. There are different screens available for different material and different reduction sizes.

The Vacuum-Chipper-Bagger by MacKissic is the best there is when compared feature to feature with other brands. The VCB eliminates raking, piling, hauling, and bagging leaves. Just run the vacuum over the lawn and the leaves will be picked up in 25" swath, shredded, and bagged for you. The leaves and debris are reduced by up to 8 to 1. With the large 4 bushel bag you will be able to remove up to the equivalent of 24 bushel bags before the easily emptied bag needs to be dumped! The bag features dual zippers opening three sides for easy dumping without taking the bag off the machine.

MacKissic offers two three point hitch(TPH) shredder-chippers. These hammermill shredder-chippers are easily attached to most category "0" or "1" tractors. Faced with leaf collection problems? Mighty Mac’s® small but tough leaf shredder chippers (LSC) can get rid of those leaves quickly and easily. The LSC can be operated in an upright position, where leaves can be dumped directly into the large shredding hopper. Want an easier way? Lay the machine down where all you need to do is rake leaves directly into the hopper. The powerful steel impeller creates a vacuum to help pull the leaves into the shredder where the material is quickly pulverized. The LSC can also chip branches up to 2-1/4” with its hardened and resharpenable tool steel knife.
