The excess sludge formed during the biological treatment of wastewater must be removed from the system by the operator. The removed excess sludge is usually thickened, dewatered, then burnt, or transported to disposal sites. All steps above have high costs, which means the operators of WWTP’s are mostly interested in technologies capable of the reduction of excess sludge formation.

Bioremediation of freshwater bodies means the improvement of the conditions in highly eutrophic waters (in a bad ecological state) by the introduction of all natural, useful microorganisms and enzymes isolated from soil or water. These microorganisms are capable of leading the total aquatic ecosystem back to the ecological balance needed for a healthy aquatic life.

After 2 years of research and development phase we developed our Malatech ELBA Intensified Biological Smartpool System, which naturally improves water quality, and takes care about algae and pathogenic bacteria control in swimming pools and ponds without the application of harmful chemicals. By establishing an environment which keeps beneficial microbes at a constant and controlled number in the system we are now able to establish and maintain the natural self-purification processes happening in healthy unharmed natural freshwater lakes in any swimming pools and ponds. The heart of Malatech ELBA Intensified Biological Smartpool System is an automated bioreactor with filter media where biological water treatment happens by naturally occurring beneficial bacteria and enzymes.

BioBooster combines the patent pending nutrient feed for microbial digestion technologies, with a continuous method of uniform delivery. BioBooster contains the essential Carbon, Nitrogen and Phosphorus sources in the correct ratio to enhance the bio activity of natural, and bio-augmented systems. The nutrient microbial system enhances the production of enzymes which supply the system with more enzymes in a shorter period of time. Nutrient deficiency makes the systems sluggish, bad nutrition has a dismal effect for the purification process. Biobooster also is formulated with minerals to help as co-enzymes in some of the more complex sequences.

C-5 Odor Neutralizer is an all-natural, botanical product formulated to digest odor producing compounds generated from the decomposition of organic materials. The odor producing compounds are organic compounds containing Sulphur or Nitrogen functionality, which are usually based on Organo-Sulphur compounds such as Hydrogen Sulphide, Mercaptans, Sulphides and Disulphides. Other odor creating compounds are based on Organo-Amines, such as Cadaverine, which is Penta-methylene Diamine. This compound is generated by microbial decarboxylation of Lysine. Some of these compounds include the Mercaptan family of compounds, which are Sulphur based. The Amino functional Hydrocarbons of low molecular weight also create some petrifying malodors.

Bioclean STP is an all-natural product made by fermentation technology. The product is a complex of microbes, enzymes, micronutrients and trace elements, developed for the optimization of wastewater sludge processing, organic Carbon-limited anaerobic digesters, and high-rate anaerobic reactors (UASB, EGSB, IC). By the constant dosage of Bioclean STP we provide the presence of specific microbes in the anaerobic reactor. These microbes hydrolyse the organic substances faster and to a greater extent than those, which, due to the ideal conditions for their proliferation, are already present in the reactor. Bioclean STP contains carefully selected naturally occurring anaerobic and facultative anaerobic microbes, which have faster and more effective metabolism to improve the pace of all the 4 major steps of anaerobic digestion.
