The Mantair septic tank conversion unit is a sewage treatment system specifically designed to fit within an existing septic tank or cesspool.  This effectively converts the existing tank into a small sewage treatment plant producing a clear, odourless and harmless effluent. A discreet, reliable, and affordable solution solution for sewage treatment in off-mains homes and small commercial spaces.

For domestic dwellings and small scale commercial premises without access to mains drainage, the Clearwater sewage treatment plant provides an economical and environmentally way of disposing of wastewater.

The HydroClear sewage treatment plant is produced by Harlequin manufacturing and uses a modern treatment process to effectively treat wastewater from both domestic dwellings and smaller commercial applications. The HydroClear is designed to receive the wastewater from bathrooms, toilets, laundry and kitchens before safely discharging the treated effluent into a watercourse or drainage field.

Tricel Novo sewage treatment plants provide a cost effective solution to sewage treatment and ensure compliance with Environment Agency and Building Regulations requirements. Tricel Novo sewage treatment plants are manufactured in accordance with EN 12566-3 and from one of the strongest glass reinforced plastic materials available, SMC (sheet moulding compound), the Tricel Novo is designed to be installed underground with  only the air blower housing and access covers at ground level. Available in population sizes 6 – 50, the Tricel Novo can used for the majority of domestic and commercial applications.

Designed and manufactured by BioRock, the Monoblock sewage treatment plants are unlike most other sewage systems as they do not require any electricity and use a completely natural process for the ‘treatment’ of wastewater. Used for rural properties without access to mains drainage, the Monoblock non-electric sewage treatment plant can cater for up to six-persons. Designed to operate effectively for both permanent and seasonal use, the Monoblock system works without any electrical or mechanical components and simply uses natural air draft for the aeration of sewage.

The majority of waste water drainage in the U.K. is provided by municipal sewage treatment works.  However, in some rural locations it is not uncommon to find that mains drainage in inaccessible and it’s the responsibility of the land owner to find an alternative method of waste water disposal.

Septic tank systems have been widely used in rural areas of the UK since the early 1900’s for areas where mains drainage is not available or the cost of connection is prohibitive. A septic tank receives all of the waste water from the house, including toilet, laundry, bathroom and kitchen waste. The main purpose of a septic tank is to separate the solid material and allow the sludge formed to undergo a process known as anaerobic digestion. This has the effect of reducing the sludge volume and therefore the frequency of septic tank emptying by vacuum tanker.
