Liquid-to-air heat pumps, also known as water to air heat pumps, harvest their heat from deep below the ground, and distribute it throughout the house in the form of hot air. In the summer, these heat pumps reverse the process and cool your home.

The Nordic Commercial R Series is a water to heat pump designed for use in commercial applications such as apartment buildings or condo buildings. This heat pump heats air for ducted heating and cools air for central air conditioning and is available in both vertical and horizontal configurations.

The Nordic air to air heat pump is an air source heat pump designed to work in a residential setting. Since the heat of heat for this heat pump is the air, there is no ground loop required, which means this system is very cost effective to install.

Our pool conditioner series (PC Series) heat pump is an indoor pool heat pump, which means it’s basically a high-efficiency heat recovery heat pump. This heat pump works by cooling and dehumidifying the pool area and then rejecting the heat back into the airstream, into the pool, or to an additional external outdoor condenser unit.

Hydronic air handlers, also known as hydronic fan coils or hot/chilled water fan coils, are devices that take the heat from hot water and transfer it to a forced air duct. This is done with a water-to-air heat exchanger, and a blower. Forced air cooling can also be accomplished from chilled water in the same manner. These units are often used to provide air conditioning in buildings that have hydronic in-floor heating, in conjunction with a liquid-to-water heat pump, or other hydronic heating system. They can also be used to provide multiple-zone heating and cooling, for example in retrofit applications where in-floor heating installation is not practical.

The Nordic In-Floor Module is an external desuperheater that can be added to an air source heat pump in order to add hydronic desuperheating capability. Desuperheating is the process of preheating your domestic hot water using discharge gas while in heating mode. This unit has no output while in cooling mode. The IFM is meant for use with third-party air source heat pumps that have an outdoor unit housing the compressor and an indoor unit housing the distribution system. You can’t use this product with Nordic heat pumps, because all of our units come with a desuperheater as standard equipment.
