The flow measurement of the WLM-Sensors is based on magnetic inductive principle. A coil produces an alternating magnetic field which induce a tension equivalent to the flow speed. The proven methodology is characterized by high accuracy and long-term stability. The most important factor is the ability to measure lowest flows. MARTINEK put special emphasis on this which enables the WLM-Sensor to measure flows as low as 1cm/s significantly which is especially important in the mostly oversized networks. The WLM-Sensors are working independent from the pipe dimensions as well as its material and can be installed under pressure without interrupting the network (hot tapping). Of course, all flow sensors can be equipped with additional pressure, noise and temperature sensor. The various interfaces enable the WLM-Sensors to be connected to all SCADA or data loggers.
