MT Explorer - Portable/Field Deployable 3D Ion Trap Mass Spectrometer
MassTech is proud to introduce our 3rd generation portable/field deployable 3D ion trap mass spectrometer with atmospheric pressure interface, the MT Explorer 30 (MTE30). The new MTE30 is significant fraction of the size, weight and cost of its predecessor while providing capabilities similar to the full sized MT100 and MT50. The compact design makes it perfect for field use and its powerful MS-n function makes structure elucidation easy to achieve.
MassTech - Atmospheric Pressure, Matrix Assisted Laser Desorption/Ionization
The AP-MALDI (Atmospheric Pressure, Matrix Assisted Laser Desorption/Ionization) source has been our signature product since the inception of the company. Currently in its’ fifth generation -called AP-MALDI (ng) HR – our AP-MALDI ion source uses several key pieces of technology MassTech has developed over years of work with this product. Furthermore, as the AP-MALDI operates at atmospheric pressure (requiring zero pumping time after installation) samples are not required to be vacuum compatible. This gives you the ability to use volatile or semi-volatile solvents and matrices in your sample, allowing for new and non-traditional MALDI applications.
MassTech - Mass Spectrometers
MassTech, Inc. is proud to announce the newest member to the AP-MALDI family – the AP-MALDI (ng) UHR (Ultra High Resolution). The AP-MALDI(ng) UHR is available for all mass spectrometers currently supported by the regular AP-MALDI. The AP-MALDI(ng) UHR includes upgraded optics, source housing and eliminates the use of optical fiber which allow for a focused laser spot less than 10 micron in diameter. Also, AP-MALDI(ng) UHR includes an upgraded laser – it is still a solid state Nd:YAG laser at 355 nm wavelength, but the output frequency is up to 10 kHz.
MassTech - Thermo Stabilized Platform for High Temperature nanoLC Separations
MassTech introduced The-LCP (Thermo Stabilized Platform for High Temperature nanoLC Separations) at Pittcon in 2012, in order to help customers using custom length capillaries with their nanoLC-MS experiments. Since then it has been independently tested in two proteomics research facilities. Column temperature plays an important role for retention times, peak shapes, and peak intensities, and thus, the temperature needs to be accurately controlled for reproducible nanoLC-MS runs. In addition to sensitivity and resolution improvements, elevated column temperature can reduce column backpressure when long nanoLC columns with 3-micron and sub-2 micron particles are in use for high chromatographic resolution.
