MCG’s Paragon Credit Risk Manager System (CRM) combines state of the art technology with a rich feature set for managing credit risk including counterparty, contract, collateral, and exposure management, advanced credit analytics, and credit scoring. Our highly flexible and user-friendly application is easily configured to meet the nuances of each client’s credit risk requirements. Individual users can create custom views of each screen to create custom reports and these formats can be shared with other users. CRM encompasses the entire scope of credit risk management to ensure consistent and efficient adherence to the credit policies of your organization.

The Gas Scheduling System (GSS) module is MCG’s latest offering for MCG’s Paragon Energy Risk Manager (ERM). GSS can be used individually or with ERM’s many other modules, and enables ERM customers to consolidate processes their schedulers use into a single platform. The module merges operational and commercial data in an easily navigated format that streamlines tasks from processing nominations to generating expected cash flows, and uses transport rates captured from the pipeline and actualized data to generate invoices and closing statements.

MCG’s Versify Outage Management System (OMS) is an industry leading outage management platform that provides feature and functionality to manage outage tickets across the entire lifecycle from the initial request, through approval processes, to execution and coordination activities with field operators and ISO/RTOs. In addition, the integrated Operator Logging application delivers control room and facility logging capability along with switching order management functionality through a single integrated system that streamlines operator’s desktops. MCG’s Versify OMS and Operator Logging utilize a unique workflow enabled architecture that may be configured to manage complex processes associated with outage management, control room operations, and switching within generation, transmission, and distribution businesses.

MCG’s Versify Operator Logging (OpLog) application delivers control room and facility logging capability along with switching order management functionality through a single integrated system that streamlines operator’s desktops. OpLog utilizes a unique workflow enabled architecture that may be configured to manage complex processes associated with outage management, control room operations, and switching within generation, transmission, and distribution businesses. OpLog is integrated MCG’s Versify Outage Management System (OMS). OpLog and OMS can be used separately, or together as a comprehensive outage management and logging solution.

Hosted Data Services (HDS) provides a single, easily accessible hosted platform for reporting and data archiving for all MCG hosted systems. HDS’s application front end has full search, filter, report, and display building capability as well as a programmatic API for performing queries directly against the HDS database using simplified views of the data, allowing for full ad-hoc querying of all customer data. This allows for long running queries to be performed against HDS rather than the production system to alleviate performance impacts, as well as direct integration via our APIs to internal systems.

MCG’s Control Area Scheduling System (CAS) is a fully featured interchange and transmission scheduling system integrating MCG Tagging and OASIS interfaces to automatically create, categorize, and track interchange and transmission schedules for reliability entities. The system provides multiple levels of checkouts (preschedule, post hour, midnight, after the fact, etc.) for schedules and actuals, calculates and tracks inadvertent, and matches schedules against limits for tag validation and curtailment management.  The system is able to handle multiple wheeling tags, detect skip scheduling, validate tag physical paths, account for horizontal and vertical transmission stacking, and track ramping information for end of hour and mid hour ramp changes. The system also makes use of various types of application interfaces such as EIDE to send and receive schedules and actuals between internal systems.
