Light Brothers main site in Lewes is a licensed Waste Transfer Station. The site can accept all domestic and commercial wastes including wood, paper, plastics, cardboard, hardcore, concrete and metals. We accept all 13 WEEE categories including refrigeration and CRT’s. The site has two weighbridges to ensure a fast turnaround for customers and a separate scale for Non-Ferrous metal. When visiting the site please ensure you carry your waste carriers registration details with you. You can register as a waste carrier by contacting the Environment Agency.

Light Brothers has a dedicated team available to remove hazardous chemicals, Including Paints and Oils, with disposal found for difficult waste streams.

Light Brothers has available a Winter Salt Gritting Service, With the use of four wheel drive vehicles and towable gritting units, these will fit into most small areas from car parks to site access roads (Please phone for availability and prices)

Light Brothers has a dedicated team who are available to clear areas which have been subjected to fly tipping, This can range from gateways and roadsides to full site clearances.
