For this field of application medical cable Tec GmbH supplies spiral and strand ropes for different control cables made of several materials coated or non-coated. These products are being designed according to customer’s specification in order to meet the requirements such as breaking force, expansion, fatigue bending characteristics, corrosion resistance, DC resistance, non-twisting and low-strain design as well as processability.

According to standard we are using wire made of material 1.4401 with polished or wet-drawn surface, that is to say, precious metal hardening and tempering (silver, gold, platinum). However a production made of solid precious metal wire is possible. Highly transparent, flexible, human body compatible and hypoallergenic plastics are used for jacket coating.
