Role: The Lightning Data Base is a complete repository for all the data delivered by the detection network, it stores flashes and strokes as well as sensor data and offers a seamless access to this data through a standard interface.

Role: Allow remote clients to get an access to the Lightning Data Base in order to check lightning activity for a given day and city location or geographic coordinates.
