NOVATECH - Model iBCN - Satellite Beacons
The iBCN is the next-generation of MetOcean’s NOVATECH satellite beacons, designed for tracking and locating your assets to full ocean depth (12,000m). The self-contained submersible beacons use the bi-directional capabilities of the Iridium satellite telemetry system, allowing the end user to receive real-time GPS location of their asset and also change and send various reporting parameters to the beacon.
Model NOVA - New Generation Oceanographic Variable-Buoyancy Autonomous
The NOVA (New generation Oceanographic Variable-buoyancy Autonomous) is an innovative subsurface profiling float. NOVA"s buoyancy control system is a closed system that requires no maintenance or service. A high-pressure pump is used exclusively to increase buoyancy by transferring fluid to an external bladder. Subsequently, a manifold valve is responsible for achieving negative buoyancy by decreasing the volume of the external bladder; the pressure differential between the internal and external bladders provides the necessary displacement for numerous ocean applications.
iTrac - Vessel Monitoring System
The iTrac system consists of a bi-directional satellite communicator that transmits vessel position reports at specified intervals. The iTrac system may be remotely programmed to change the reporting interval. The iTrac system consists of a satellite communicator and a marine grade antenna. An internal battery for back-up is provided to maintain all parameters in the case of power failure. The communicator is housed in an IP68 rated rugged marine grade enclosure.
