Desoldering Braids

MG Chemicals Super Wicks are desoldering braids made of clean, oxide-free copper wire with a tight weave. The best solder wick is designed for solder removal to ease the replacement of electronics components without damaging the board or components. They reduce rework/repair time and minimize the risk of heat damage to the board. Our desoldering braids’ exceptional weave design and heat transfer capacities result in very fast and large capacity wicking, faster than any other competitive brand on the market. We offer three solder wick types: Type ‘R’, Lead-Free, and No-Clean Flux systems. They are available in a wide variety of lengths, and widths. All 5 braids are housed in static-free bobbins.

Fine Braid Super Wick

Fine Braid Super Wick is a tightly woven, oxide-free copper solder wick coated with RMA flux. Its high purity and tight weave make it fast-wicking, quickly removing solder and minimizing dwell time. This solder remover wick is suitable for the reworking and repairing of circuit boards, benchtop repair and service, through-hole repair, and surface mount assembly touch-up.

Super Shield Graphite Conductive Paint

839 is an economical acrylic paint that uses a graphite filler to create conductive, static-free surfaces. This anti-static material reduces low-frequency EMI/RFI. It cures to a smooth, durable finish and is resistant to abrasion, oxidation, and extreme thermal cycling, making it a suitable choice for outdoor use. It is a general-use conductor to provide low-cost EMI/RFI shielding. It can be used where it is necessary to impart conductivity on common plastic surfaces and drywall, making it suitable for shielding entire rooms against low frequencies. We also offer a more effective silver-coated copper version, a water-based version for use on wood or drywall, and an epoxy-based alternative for use on metal or glass. Before applying this product to plastic, clean the surface with IPA.

Adhesives - 1 Part Epoxy Adhesives

1 Part Epoxy, Electrically Conductive Adhesive, High Tg

This conductive adhesive is a 1-part, heat-cured system with an unlimited working time. It is a silver grey, smooth, thixotropic paste that cures to form a hard, durable, and electrically conductive polymer. It bonds well to a wide variety of substances. It is an electrical adhesive glue that is designed for semi-conductor flip chip packaging and die attach for small chips, LEDs and diodes. It provides excellent EMI/RFI shielding and is very effective in filling seams between metal plates. It can be readily used in manual, pneumatic, and robotic dispensing processes. 9410 is a silver filled epoxy adhesive that requires no mixing and is designed to simplify processing. It significantly eliminates waste and accelerates productivity while relieving concerns regarding mix ratios, weighing, and working times. It is stable at room temperature and does not require frozen storage.
