Micro Cooling Concepts (MC2) products

MC² offers a line of high performance water-cooled copper mounts for high power electronics and laser diodes. These heatsinks incorporate advanced microchannel and micro-impingement cooling circuits to dramatically improve thermal performance.

MC2`s compact heat exchangers use laminated foil construction to reduce the core size and weight of Air/Air, Liquid/Liquid and Liquid/Air heat exchangers.

Micro Cooling Concepts` employees have worked on thermal protection systems for a variety of hypersonic systems, dating from the early-80`s and continuing to the present day. While both passive and active systems have been used, from the late-80s to the present we have focused on active cooling solutions.

(San Francisco, CA) on several projects to develop small rocket motors with integrated microcooling. The nickel motors above, and the stainless steel motors below, demonstrate the ability to fabricate microcooled rocket motors as a single unit. MC² has also done exploratory development of aluminum rocket motors.
