New to the ARMATEX Coated Fabrics line, our Polyurethane Coated Fabrics are engineered to replace PTFE coated fabrics in industrial environments for use as thermal insulation materials. With many of the properties found in PTFE coated fabrics, the ARMATEX PUF Series offers a safe alternative to both your team and the environment with no toxic health effects.

Intumescent coating is made with a protective substance that is activated by a heat generating chemical reaction. The initiation of this reaction causes the intumescent particles to swell and form an insulating layer on a surface, with or without release of water. The key feature of intumescents is that they expand significantly when exposed to high temperatures, such as those found in a fire. Therefore, this type of coating provides a cost-effective as well as practical solution for fire protection.

Mid-Mountain manufactures ARMATEX Q Refractory Coated Fabrics and Tapes. These coated fabrics consist of varying substrates impregnated with a proprietary refractory coating that greatly enhances the temperature resistance, chemical resistance, and abrasion resistance of the substrate.

Designed to perform in the most demanding environments, ARMATEX® SQF Coated Fabrics and Tapes are comprised of varying high-temperature resistant substrates. These fabrics are silicone coated on one side and have a proprietary refractory coating on the other side.

ARMATEX Firestar Fabrics and Tapes are comprised of a fiberglass substrate and vermiculite coating that greatly enhances the resistance to burn through flame impingement, sparks, molten splash, and corrosion.

ARMATEX Ceramic Coated Fabrics consist of a cured, high-temperature ceramic coating, applied to a variety of bases, creating a high-temperature fabric. The ceramic coating enhances strength, adds dimensional stability, and reduces the fraying of the fabric in fabrication.

Mid-Mountain manufactures silicone-coated fabrics and textiles comprised of varying substrates coated with silicone rubber compounds.  ARMATEX Silicone Coated Fabrics and Textiles are engineered for use in environments that require high heat or flame resistance, chemical resistance, abrasion resistance, and UV or weather resistance.

ARMATEX NF 14 CARGO TEX utilizes a high-strength woven fiberglass as a substrate for an innovative polymer coating. The fiberglass fabric is the strongest available for its weight and with the polymer coating the fabric has incredible dimensional stability and exceptional flame retardant characteristics.

Made with continuous filament, 96% amorphous silica fibers, SILTEX Woven Silica Fabric is a chemical resistant material that also has high temperature and abrasion resistance.
