Aerospace Coating Removal

Our starch abrasives are designed to remove tough aircraft coatings without damaging the most sensitive substrates. Archer Daniels Midland’s (ADM ®) EnviroStrip ®, EnviroStrip®XL and eStrip® GPX Type VII plastic dry stripping media protects sensitive surfaces such as thin skinned aluminum, carbon fiber, and composites against damage during dry stripping. Biobased abrasives have a self-sharpening crystalline structure that insures consistent cutting capability throughout the product’s life.  These abrasives are less damaging and longer lasting compared to traditional plastic media blasting (pmb) abrasives.

Composite Surface Preparation

Blasting parts with an abrasive slurry using the Wet Tech Process creates a clean, even etched finish with no media embedded into the surface. The wet blasting process is the ideal method for composite bonding prep. High quality and consistent anchor patterns are achieved using an abrasive slurry process through a high pressure blast cabinet system. This process can be used on different composites on a variety of weaves, resins, hardness, and matching surfaces. The wet blasting process has been used on high demand composite bonding applications for customers including Bell Helicopter, The Boeing Company, The National Institute for Aviation Research, and others in the industry.

Metal Flux

There are many metal flux formulations available on the market today that provide a multitude of functions. The two main factors to consider when buying a flux are; what type of metal are you pouring and what are you trying to achieve by fluxing. We offer several fluxes for pouring aluminum, bronze, zinc, brass, iron, and more. We also offer fluxes for furnace wall cleaning, sludge removal, modifying the characteristics of metal, improving the efficiency of the melt operation, drossing, and more. Special formulations are available. They include low smoke formulations, fluoride and sodium-free formulations, and injection process fluxes for covering, drossing, cleaning, degassing, wall cleaning, alloying and refining.

Aqueous Parts Washer

Conveyor Parts Washer

An aqueous industrial conveyor parts washer provides effective cleaning for many industrial applications on an in-line system. These utilize high-impact spray tube design, recirculatory wet stages, a variety of blowoff systems, and heat stages available in electric, gas, or steam. Parts washer systems can have one or multiple wash zones. Conveyor Options Include – Belt, Chain, Drum, Fixtures and Indexing

Monorail Parts Washer

Aqueous industrial monorail parts washer provides an effective cleaning for many industrial applications on an in-line system. The process is streamlined and allows parts to pass through the entire application with a reduction of direct labor. These utilize high-impact spray tube design, recirculatory wet stages, a variety of blowoff systems, and heat stages available in electric, gas, or steam. This application is ideal for high-volume production and in-line operations.
