MWF - Liquid Filter Bags

Midwest Filter LLC offers a wide range of liquid filter bags designed to meet diverse filtration needs. These filter bags provide filtration solutions ranging from 1 to 1500 microns, suitable for various applications. The standard felt bag materials include polypropylene, polyester, nylon, and aramid, as well as absolute rated polypropylene and polyester microfiber material. Additionally, the mesh bags are crafted from nylon monofilament, polypropylene monofilament, or polyester multi-filament. Notably, the polyester and polypropylene felt filter bags are composed of FDA compliant materials, making them appropriate for food-grade applications. The bags feature felt surface treatments and welded seams to prevent fiber migration and eliminate bypass, with seal styles including rings, flanges, drawstring, or plain top available. For convenience, many liquid filter bags can be ordered online through their FilterBag.com division. Micro mesh options are also available, with micron ratings ranging from 35 to 1200 microns.

MWF - Pleated Liquid Cartridges

These nominal efficiency pleated cartridges consist of two layers of nominal felt, creating both a pre-filter and final filter layer for effective filtration. Additionally, the deep pleated absolute efficiency rated cartridges incorporate various filter medias combined together. MWF - Polypropylene Filter Vessel

The MWF X100+ Polypropylene Vessel is a cost-effective, durable solution designed for liquid filtration, resistant to a wide range of chemicals and easy to clean. Constructed entirely in the USA using FDA-compliant 100% polypropylene, this vessel includes a twist-off lid with a new and improved dual seal design—featuring two Buna gaskets—and a polypropylene basket. The vessel can handle a variety of filtration needs with the availability of supports, gaskets, baskets, and filter bags as accessories. It is generally available for next-day shipment. In addition, Midwest Filter offers ASME code bag filter housings that serve as replacements for FSI legacy FSP and FSPN vessels, including configurations for size 1 and size 2 positive seal filter bags. These vessels are crafted to withstand pressures from 150 PSI to 300 PSI, utilizing materials such as carbon steel, 304 and 316 stainless steel, and specialized alloys. Midwest Filter is your source for ASME code bag filter housings to replace FSI legacy FSP and FSPN vessels. Midwest Filter now offers FSP/FSPN style filter vessels which utilize size 1 and size 2 positive seal filter bags. These vessels are offered with over-the-top inlet styles, choice of lid opening types, a single gasket lid seal design, and options for flanged or NPT connections. The vessels are manufactured in accordance with ASME Section VIII with carbon steel or stainless steel construction and are available in a variety of configurations including side in bottom out or side in side out.

MWF - Leak Detection Powder

Leak detection testing is integral to the inspection of baghouse systems, ensuring accurate installation of filter bags and the absence of bypass points. The process involves the introduction of a fluorescent dye powder into the dusty air inlet. A UV lamp is then used on the clean side to detect any illuminated points of dust bypass. This method is applicable for both baghouses and cartridge collectors. Midwest Filter provides 5 lb. pails of safe and non-toxic green or orange leak powder that are ready for immediate shipment.
