A brief history:

Founded in 1845 in St Quentin (Aisne, France) by Henri Martin, founding worker, the firm Missenard-Quint, not yet known on this name, was taken back in 1903 by the duo Joseph Quint, owner of foundries and boiler works, and Antoine Hallier from the Ecole Centrale de Paris. In 1918 when Antoine Hallier retired, Joseph Quint engineer of Arts et Métiers, joined by his brother George, whose idea was to create an agitator equiped with a marine propeller. In 1933 they registered the first French patent for an industrial agitator .

A few years later, it`s, Andre Missenard, Joseph Quint`s son Polytechnic school joined the company where he conducted researchs in chemical engineering and determined the thermal conductivity of materials. The firm definitely takes the name of Missenard-Quint in 1949. The agitators are marketed under the brand Missenard-QuintIndustries.

Able to answer to all sorts of needs, regardless of the size, nature of the customer`s request, Missenard-Quint Industries is renowed by its technical ability to adapt to all clients requirement even the more specific or technics. The independence and reactivity of Missenard Quint is the main strength of this family company.

Chronology of the Company

1845 Fundation by Henri Martin.
1903 Joseph Quint (Arts et Métiers) is associated with Antoine Hallier (Ecole Centrale de Paris).
1925 Arrival of Patrick Flamant (Ecole des Mines de Paris), with his know how on the foundries.
1949 The firm take the name of : Missenard-Quint.
1977 Creation of two news entities. President : Bernard Missenard (Polytechnic school).
1995, Missenard Quint celebrates 150 years anniversary
1996 Creation of a new sigle for Missenard-Quint B (MQB).
1999 MQI become a subsidiary company of MQB.
2002 Recast of the sigles of Missenard-Quint B and Missenard-Quint I.
