On-Site Services

Assembly Supervision Services

A Mixel expert technician supports and supervises the customer’s worksite teams to ensure that assembly is performed in line with industry standards. The human resources and equipment required are defined by the customer and are at its cost.

Complete Agitator Assembly

Mixel Service takes charge of all worksite management (team, rental of lifting equipment if necessary, worksite supervision) and guarantees the proper final assembly of the agitators.

Inspection of the Assembled Agitatorsj Services

Before switching the units on for the first time, a Mixel expert checks that the customer has correctly assembled the units by performing mechanical tests: measurement of levels, torque values, proper propeller installation (in particular correct rotational direction).

Agitator Maintenance Services

Preventive – this is performed after inspection by a Mixel technician who determines the preventive maintenance actions to be performed: recommendations for correct agitator operation, verification of wear parts, replacement of parts, complete review of equipment on site or at the Mixel workshop, etc. Curative or repair – this is triggered by a breakdown or breakage. The Mixel technician identifies the causes of the incident and ensures that the unit can be restarted by repairing or replacing the defective parts.

Services

Atex Compliance

All equipment installed in an explosive atmosphere (gas and/or dust) must comply with the current ATEX2014/34/UE directive. The definition of ATEX zones (0, 1 and 2 for gases and vapours, 20, 21 and 22 for dust) is performed by the company using the agitator. The production quality system of MIXEL complies with annex IV of the ATEX 2014/34/UE Directive. This quality system in compliance with annex IV of the Directive also meets the requirements of annex VII, Product Quality Assurance, and ISO/CEI 80079-34 Ed. 2.0 (2018).

Spare Parts Services

Mixel Service sells all wearing parts of agitators manufactured by Mixel: Agitation shaft, propeller, motor, gearbox, sealing system (mechanical seal, gasket, hydraulic seal, stuffing box with packing...), sets of spare parts for motorization.

R & D - Research and Development Services

A good understanding of the mixing process and the physical phenomena that govern this process is a fundamental element to determinate the optimal design of an industrial agitator. However this understanding remains limited if it is not supported by a solid knowledge of the physical, chemical and also rheological properties of the different mixed products.

Modification or Revamping

As an agitator has a long working life, the user may need to modify it, for example if the manufacturing process changes or there is a change to operating conditions (temperature, viscosity, density, etc.). MIXEL Service offers revamping solutions for existing agitators, after audit, for MIXEL agitators or agitators from other manufacturers.
