MST Aftercooler System
The MST Model 8059601 Aftercooler System is designed to be used with the MST Model 8050501 Ambient Air Pump to provide cooler air to the continuous flow supplied air respirator. The Aftercooler will reduce the air temperature produced by the Ambient Air Pump by up to 43 percent. The Aftercooler is connected to the outlet of the Ambient Air Pump via a ½` I.D. x 5 ft. long hose. The customer’s continuous flow supplied air respirator hose assembly is attached to the Aftercooler’s 3/8` FPT outlet.
MST’S Carbon Dioxide (CO2) Filter System
MST now offers a Carbon Dioxide Removal Filter to help reduce nuisance levels of Carbon Dioxide found in Compressed Breathing Air. Air being compressed by industrial compressors normally intake air from inside factories or other areas that are contaminated with Carbon Dioxide. Normally, the CO2 levels are at acceptable levels for breathing, however, in certain situations (eg. welding operations, internal combustion traffic or various types of gas fired equipment) CO2 can be a nuisance.
Air Horn Alarm System
The MST Model 8039601 Air Horn Alarm System is an alarm system utilizing a small compact valving system that is designed to activate an air horn should the carbon monoxide monitoring system in the Filtration and/or Purification system go into an alarm condition. (For use in explosive environments)
Calibration Kit
MST’s 8003101 Calibration Kit is furnished with a non-adjustable regulator to ease the calibrating procedure. WARNING: To avoid damage to the monitor’s sensor, regulator provided in this kit must be used. Before attempting to use this kit, be certain that the components are connected as shown in the sketch below and read the section on “CALIBRATION AND ADJUSTMENT” in the instruction manual furnished with the instrument. It will save time and conserve calibration gas if the instrument is “warmed up” and the calibration adjustment controls have been located on the instrument prior to screwing the regulator on to the test gas cylinder.
Electronic Low Pressure Warning System
The MST Model 8023301 Electronic Low Pressure Warning System is designed to alert users of MST`s Breathing Air Purification Systems that the incoming air pressure has decreased below a specified minimum value (to be determined according to customer`s requirements). The system consists of a miniature pressure switch connected to a battery operated external remote alarm. The pressure switch is factory preset to the pressure designated in the model number (eg. 8023301- 85 would indicate that the external alarm would be activated when the inlet pressure falls below 85 PSIG).
MST Humidifier
This is a constant density type humidifier which delivers a constant ratio of water to air flow. Therefore, if air flow increases or decreases, water delivery will be adjusted proportionately. Only if a different ratio is desired should your needle valve setting be changed after your initial setting.
MST`s Optional Prefilters
All MST `Respiratory Protector` and `Breathing Air Panel` series use element grade designation `6QU` for the first stage particulate removal & second stage liquid aerosol coalescing.
MST Remote Strobe
Operating Voltage: 12 VDC. Power Consumption: 140 mA. Flash Rate: 60 per min. Candle Power: 150,000 CP. Operating Life: 800 hrs. Strobe Base Material: UL-94 Flame Retardant Plastic. Strobe Lens Material: Clear Polycarbonate. Power Cord: 20 FT., 18 AWG/2C, SPT-1, VW-1, 221o F (105o C). Optional: Up to 250 ft. of Cord can be Supplied
MST Electronic Filter Life Timer
The MST model 8022801 Electronic Filter Life Timer is designed to monitor your replacement filter element frequency in your MST Breathing Air Purification System. When pressure to MST Breathing Air Filter/Purification System reaches 12 PSIG or greater the timer will start; the timer will stop timing below this pressure. The MST Electronic Filter Life Timer consists of a miniature pressure switch connected to a continuous reading digital timer. The timer will continuously count to 999999-9 (hours - tenths) at which time, the display will return to zeros. The timer contains a non-replaceable lithium battery.
