The Grease Thief FerroQ is an analytical instrument designed for determining the level of ferrous debris in grease samples collected via Grease Thief samplers according to ASTM D7718 standards. Upon fully inserting the sample container into its designated opening, the unit initiates a rapid measurement process, delivering results in under 10 seconds. These results can be accessed either through a data cable or wirelessly via Bluetooth. It operates using either a 12VDC power source or battery and is calibrated with multiple Grease Thief standards to ensure precision across the measurement spectrum. The device is equipped to automatically adjust between high and low-range sensing circuits, achieving accuracy for measurements ranging from minimal levels to a maximum of 200,000 ppm.
