Based on the popular CIRRUS sensor platform, the FiberMax provides operation flexibility and top of the line sensing capabilities. MaxSelect utilizes patented sequential technology for the highest-definition image possible. High number of NIR and color wavelengths make it possible to change sort setups by only software programming, no hardware changes required. ClearLight™ technology provides the best signal-to-noise ratio of any optical sorter in the recycling industry. MSS doesn’t use gratings or light beam splitters, so detectors receive the maximum amount of reflected light possible, allowing for the most accurate detection of highly transparent items such as lightweight single-serve PET bottles..

MSS - Optical Plastic Sorting System for PRFs

Engineered especially for use in plastic recycling facilities, the CIRRUS PurePlasticMax is the industry’s most efficient optical sorter for plastic bottles. PurePlasticMax accurately identifies and sorts all conventional plastic resins that are used in the manufacturing of containers but also less common materials like PET-G, PLA, black plastics, etc. Using advanced algorithms and high-resolution NIR, color and optional metal sensors, PurePlasticMax™ performs full object analysis to capture even the most challenging materials, such as fully sleeved bottles and short fills.

MSS - Optical E-Scrap Sorting System

The CIRRUS eMax is especially designed for electronic scrap/WEEE recyclers. An even higher scanning resolution than usual allows the handling of smaller particle sizes generated by shredders. In-flight detection over an illuminated reference allows the sorting of various opaque, transparent and black commodities such as ferrous, non-ferrous and stainless steel metals, wires, circuit boards as well as durable plastics such as ABS, HIPS, PC, PMMA.

MSS - Optical Sorter for Film Recyclers

CIRRUS FilmMax is at the forefront of optical sorting for shredded residential and commercial film products. Flexible plastic packaging such as bags, pouches, foil and other ultra-light products can accurately be sorted by FilmMax™ after coarse pre-shredding of the incoming bales. MSS’ proprietary material handling and air-assist system allows for removal of contaminants and off-color materials from higher value plastic film like white/natural/clear LDPE.

MSS - Color Sorting System for Polyolefin (PE, PP) and PET Flakes

L-VIS uses high-resolution camera technology to provide accurate color and shape separation of small particles, capable of sorting even the smallest and thinnest particles, down to less than 1mm. The L-VIS® works great for color sorting applications such as Polyolefin (PE, PP) flakes and pellets as well as for PET flake. For electronic scrap applications, a proprietary algorithm is available for the detection of wires in electronic scrap.

The MetalMiner is the industry’s most advanced induction-based metal detector that sorts ferrous, non-ferrous, and stainless steel down to 1mm in size. It’s the perfect solution to recover valuable metal fractions like Zurik, ICW and stainless steel from from e-scrap and ASR streams. It is also capable of removing metal contaminants from fiber streams, wood chips, plastic flake and glass cullet in either a conveyor or slide configuration.
