The Mueller AquaGrip System is offered in 4` through 12` sizes of the Mueller 2361 Series Resilient Wedge Gate Valves. This Mueller exclusive combines both the compression connection and the pipe restraint system in one convenient, quick installation package. This eliminates the need for anchor couplings, tie rods or separate gland-type restrains. A typical AquaGrip connection uses fewer bolts than a conventional mechanical joint end, and substantially fewer than a gland-type restraint, significantly reducing installation time. This `labor saving` system is also available on Mueller Centuriorf Fire Hydrants, and as separate couplings and fittings to compliment water main installation needs.

CORROSION RESISTANT SHAFT- is constucted of stainless steel. Two-piece, stub-type shafts are sized per AVWVA Standard C504, Class 150B or Class 250. CHEVRON V-TYPE PACKING- is self-adjusting packing in top trunnion of valve body where shaft protrudes. STRONG DISC AND SHAFT CONNECTIONS - with generously sized stainless steel pins designed to transmit torques required and withstand stresses imposed under severe operating conditions.

Pressure management in pipe networks is fundamental to providing safe drinking water.Mueller Co. has developed a simple and cost-effective technology to continuously monitor pressure in potable water distribution systems. The pressure sensor, typically installed one per DMA, reports at user-defined intervals via cellular service and a Mueller-hosted secure web server.

Automated flushing systems and water quality sample stations. The Hydro-Guard® system monitors water quality in distribution piping and automatically initiate flushing as necessary to maintain disinfectant residuals as required by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. This system conserves water, reduces chlorine consumption, and improves customer satisfaction by helping avoid taste and odor, while requiring minimal supervision by utility personnel.
