The concrete field test kit includes all items needed for routine fresh concrete testing.  The test kit is available in four different options.  Choose between a case of 6″ x 12″ or 4″ x 8″ cylinder molds.  The complete version of the kit also includes a unit weight bucket.

The type B concrete pressure air meter measures entrained air in normal weight fresh mixed concrete. The AR-B air meter is one of the most precise measuring devices available.

The type B meter measures entrained air in normal weight fresh mixed concrete.  The kit comes complete with the meter, plastic carrying case, bulb syringe, tamping rod, strike off bar, and calibration equipment.

In addition to measuring air volume, the Super Air Meter measures the air void spacing of fresh concrete.  The super air meter uses two sequential pressurizations to test the concrete air content.  The air meter investigates the deformation of the concrete at 14.5, 30, and 45 psi.  It then releases the pressure to perform the same deformation steps for a second time.  The differences between the first and second pressure steps are used to calculate the SAM number, which is correlated with the average spacing between air voids in the concrete mixture. As a result, the SAM number can be used to determine freeze-thaw according to ACI 201 Concrete Durability Committee. The SAM kit includes the meter, pro cali-can, rubber mallet, strike off plate, tamping rod, bulb syringe, safety glasses, and carrying case.

The stainless steel cube mold has a 3-gang diagonal mold that makes 3, 2″ x 2″ compression test cubes at one time.  It comes with wing nut clamps that lock the mold to the base and stainless steel thumb screws that secure its halves tightly together.  The mold also has a detachable stainless steel base plate.

The cement autoclave uses accelerated means of estimating delayed expansion of Portland cement caused by hydration of CaO and MgO. Exposed test bars control steam pressure and corresponding constant temperature. In addition, the autoclave produces 60-250 psi range of pressures.  The unit consists of the steam vessel, pressure regulator and pressure gauge. As well as air vent valve, power switches and safety pop valve.  A thermometer, wrench and five gaskets are also included with purchase.

The digital length comparator measures the length changes of hardened cement paste, mortar and concrete prismatic specimens.  The indicator mounts on a sturdy cross-bar support that attaches to solid posts.

The sieve shaker – digital timer allows the user to set a time of up to 60 minutes with automatic shutoff.  It features an easy to use digital interface with an accuracy of 0.5%.  The shaker uses 3″, 5″, and 8″ sieves. Up to ten 8″ sieves, twelve 5″ sieves, sixteen 3″ full-height sieves or eighteen half height 8″ sieves. Bolt the unit to a bench for correct operation
