Anionic surfactant, soluble in water, with excellent decontamination, emulsification, foaming properties and anti-hard water properties. Mild washing properties will not damage the skin. It is also widely used in wetting agents and cleaners in the textile industry. Sodium lauryl ether sulphate(SLES-70%) features excellent foaming performance, hard water resistance, excellent biodegradability. It can be used in many daily care products, such as shampoo, shower gel, hand wash liquid, laundry detergent or powder. Hard surface cleaning can also use this product, such as glass or car cleaning. Besides, it is a good oil-displacing agent, foam boost agent for increasing oil recovery.

Based on detergency test result, both LAS and AOS showed good synergy in phosphorus-containing and non-phosphorus powders. In phosphate-free washing powders with LAS and AOS as anionic active ingredients, the detergency of AOS is significantly increased when the active content is more than 20%. The detergency synergy of AOS in non-phosphorus washing powder is more oustanding than that in phosphorus-containing powder. AOS has a good compatibility with enzyme. The detergency power of AOS and LAS is not much different at high temperatures and long-term washing (eg above 60°C, washing for 1 hour). However, AOS shows higher detergency performance than LAS when used under room temperature (10-40°C for 10-29 minutes). Compared with LAS, AOS features stronger hard water resistance. AOS shows a very good stain removal performance on sebum dirt and oily and powdery stain.

Allyl alcohol is an intermediate in the production of glycerin, pharmaceuticals, pesticides, perfumes and cosmetics. It is also a raw material for producing diallyl phthalate resin and bis(2,3-dibromopropyl) fumarate. Silane derivatives of allyl alcohol and copolymers with styrene are widely used in the coatings and fiberglass industries. Allyl carbamate can be used in the photosensitive polyurethane coatings and casting industries. The allyl alcohol molecule has an alcoholic hydroxyl group and an olefinic double bond, and can be reacted with a compound such as an ether, an ester or an acetal to prepare various products.
