National Tire Recycling Group (NTRG) services

NTRG - Mobile Tire Shredding Services

We have scheduled runs across province to various cities that currently do not have tire processors locally to process and recycle as many tires on the spot without bringing them all the way to Edmonton. We work with landfills, transfer stations and local tire shops to eliminate extra charges to transport used tires back and forth. Please contact us to find out about our next scheduled run.

NTRG - Rubber Mulch Services

Rubber mulch generally consists of either waste tire buffings or nuggets of synthetic rubber from tires that are ground up whole, after having their steel bands removed. Almost any tire can be used to make rubber mulch, including passenger vehicle tires and large truck and trailer tires. Buffings are produced from recycled truck tire tread when the remainder of the worn-down tread is removed from the tire prior to retreading.

NTRG - Crumb Rubber Services

Crumb rubber is recycled rubber produced from automotive and truck scrap tires. During the recycling process, steel and tire cord (fluff) are removed, leaving tire rubber with a granular consistency. Continued processing with a granulator or cracker mill, possibly with the aid of cryogenics or by mechanical means, reduces the size of the particles further.

NTRG - Used Steel Rims Services

We try and be 100% efficient by recycling every bit that comes into our facility. We work with local scrap places to recycle used steel and aluminum rims and give them a second life by putting them into different forms of steel and aluminum products.

NTRG - LDPE4 Granules Services

NTRG has also started to help our community and recycle agricultural film. Farmers across province have no way of properly disposing or recycling this type of film. We collect the film from various landfills and transfer stations across province and give it a second life by making into granules for further product manufacturing.

NTRG - LDPE4 Baled Film Services

Aside from recycling LDPE film into granules, some buyers sometimes require baled film. We collect it, wash it, dry it and put into bales and ship it worldwide to different manufactures to process it and give that film a second life.
