Planning & Permitting Service

One of the original, and leading renewable energy development consultancies, we have over 100 years combined experience in delivering consented / permitted projects for clients. Our on-going 95% success rate, across more than 3.5 GW of installed client capacity, is a testament to our thorough and considered approach to site development. Natural Power performs a range of planning and related services ensuring that these feed into all aspects of our project design and development. Our planning department brings together qualified planners with project managers and a range of technical specialists to support our clients in the delivery of renewable energy and other related projects. Our planning and consenting services cover the whole project life cycle from initial feasibility through, consenting, construction, operations as well as extensions, modifications and repowering of existing sites.

Engineering Services

We have a proven track record in supporting all phases of renewable energy developments, delivering completed projects to the post-construction & operations phase. Our services have assisted clients on more than 110 sites to date representing 1.5 GW of installed capacity. Natural Power brings together expert civil, mechanical, electrical, environmental and geotechnical engineers, supporting our clients in the delivery of renewable energy projects globally.

Project Management Services

Natural Power provides first class project management services across the full lifecycle of a renewable energy project. We deliver services from Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA) to construction project management and commercial financial services to Offshore Transmission Owner (OFTO) services, for a diverse range of clients.

Due Diligence Services

Natural Power provides technical due diligence services throughout all stages of the transaction cycle, from initial risk assessment and reporting in early transaction stages through to comprehensive reporting for credit-committee or data room presentation at final bid stage or financial close. Our due diligence clients include major international banks, developers, IPPs, utilities, investment funds and other financial institutions.

Geotechnical Services

Our Geotechnical Services team provides site investigation solutions that combine experienced geotechnical consultancy skills with state of the art contracting services and plant. With over 10 years’ experience we have developed high quality ground investigation, geophysical and topographic surveys across more than 100 renewable, grid, infrastructure and water related projects. We deliver solutions within wider construction management teams, integrated with planning, design and constructions processes, ensuring that work is carried out efficiently and to the highest levels of health and safety. Our experienced team of 16 geotechnical engineers and geophysicists are supported by a professional drilling team well versed in a wide selection of methods.
