Ecological surveys
We provide sound expert advice to public and private stakeholders for the development and implementation of species and habitats conservation, management and restoration plans, assessments and large conservation projects.
Biodiversity monitoring projects
We plan, coordinate and implement biodiversity monitoring projects, adapted to each species group, in collaboration with universities, research institutes, specialized NGOs such as Birdlife in Greece and the Society for the protection of the Monk Seal, as well as international experts. We have long experience in birds, bats, mammals, reptiles, insects, flora and habitat monitoring projects for specific Natura 2000 sites and nationwide, related to the assessment of conservation status, and to the ecological requirements of the monitored species and habitats.
Appropriate Assessments
We undertake studies for major infrastructure projects subject to environmental permitting process such as the Trans Adriatic Gas Pipeline (TAP). Our expertise and knowledge of the legal framework of the environmental permitting process for projects and activities within Natura 2000 sites, allows us to prepare technically sound Appropriate Assessments, complying with the requirements of the European Nature Directives.
